Does the car being shown to clients have a black roof (that ties in with the black panel between the headlights)?

I don't believe clients will actually pick the name. Voting must be just for inclusion and additional excitement. And giving clients a change to familiarize themselves with each option.

There is absolutely zero chance that the company doesn't already know what that car is named. Any suggestion otherwise is just a marketing ploy.

    Not a Halo model name.

By the way, has anyone noticed that the title "LaFerrari replacement: v12, no hybrid, less power than SF90stradale?" is wrong on all three elements? It's fun guessing where the company is going; I suspect they have fun misleading us. All of these were correct for the Daytona SP3, but not the halo car replacement.

Something I have noticed as well... Just another example of the negativity surrounding the Ferrari brand that prevails in certain segments of this place.

I don't agree. All options in the survey are trademarked and reported by the press earlier. Car is not entering production before next year, so creating specific marketing material (the only requirement by next week) takes hours.

All the legal work is completed.

I do not know by first hand, but there are several reports of earlier models having their names signed off on very close to unveil.

If the name was already decided; is there a single reason to withhold it to clients attending a private event?

I think getting to have a say in what a car of this lineage is called would be really cool. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like something Ferrari would actually allow.

I do have to say, as little as I liked the renders initially, they have grown on me quite a bit.

What alot of companies tend to do is design and mock up about 3 - 6 different versions. In this case it's just for the Name. So if the name has not been decided those mock up will be say the final top 6 choices. Then once finalize they are already ready to go. also a great way to stop leaks. If its last minute one would expect that the design / typography had already been sorted. so its only a matter of putting in the correct name and a little alignment/scale due to different letter counts.

Ferrari wouldn't allow what; clients to vote between three prescreened names - that are trademarked?

It's not a mailbox competition to get a name drawn out of a hat by an Italian man in a tuxedo.

The LaFerrari is a perfect example of this. Clients that attended the private preview in 2013 reported here that Ferrari hadn't settled on a name for the car at that point and, well, you know what happened next.

I could wait on the name, I hope every car has a color unique to its owner. I’m rooting for Arcobaleno Lucido

^^ Besides the nose, the only other part of the car that remained concealed is this, the door top scoops.

I imagine the scalloped out volume is painted black as it is contiguous with the black greenhouse and downstream NACA scoop, and the whole area looks like this:

There will never be an issue selling the hypercar so please hope that Manzoni closes his baloney and doesn't try to drone on about his brilliance of design. Such a car will always speak for itself when seen in the flesh and even more so when driven. Congratulations to the new owners.

Agreed, I quite like the LaFerrari name. The only problems is that you cannot surpass it in terms of Ferrariness. Not that it matters. As longs as the car is great, it might as well be named "Super Mario"...
