Any 348 owners ever used a supersprint exhaust? I can’t find any videos. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I found video shot in Europe on tight city street roundabout in Europe a few years back, very glameropus if I recall. I think it was linked off Supersprints site a few years back. It sounded really good. If I reacall, not as high pitch as kreissieg but no where as boat sounding as every other exhaust other than the kreissieg. If I were to get an exhaust besides kreissieg, it would be that Supersprint one based on the one video I saw. It was pretty convincing but who knows if the audio was altered or what not. I think it used to be where I circled. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Eric. I’ll contact them and see if they still have the video. The Kreissieg worries me. I don’t need or want the complexity of a a valved system, and their non valved package implies it’s only available in the ear-splitting F1 Howl flavor which is unpleasant to my ears.
Actually the wonder wolf which is the non valved is not the loud f1 at all, it’s very tame very pleasant actually. There is a vid I’ll find.
Seems possible, but that’s not how it’s marketed. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The super sprint is pretty similar to my ears given the videos I have seen over the years. To get actual f1 sound it has to have open valves, without valves it’s just a muffler but they have more high pitch than any other exhaust and when you compare non valves mufflers they are in their own class. Trudy call them all f1 really. No motor boat at idle sound either. this guy never really winds it out either more casual drive, you can hear it climbing and pitch getting higher.
" Trudy call them all f1 really. No motor boat at idle sound either." They* call them all f1 really. No motor boat at idle sound either.
Super sprint is really close, I was a far cry from the typical Tubi/ Nouvolari type sound. At least according the the clips I heard.
It’s a pity that they don’t have a customer video for all 5 valve settings between and 1 and 5. They only have videos with level 2 and level 5 in their calved system. Such a pity . It would have helped
pretty smooth and not overly deep. Why switch, is it volume? btw there is a small shop out of Poland that makes a real nice exhaust also. I’m at work so I can’t search so well. Aside from craft issues the ansa spider can sits between the Camry quiet dual can system and most aftermarket units in terms of volume. Definitely would not describe the ansa single can as loud. Looks not so good though.
I wish somebody made a muffler that sounded good with modern looking tips. I love how my tubi sounds but I have to change the 1990s tips. It’s on my to do list
Why do you want anachronistic parts on your car? This I’ll never understabf. That said, KSG has a titanium tip option if you’re into that Pep Boys look.
haha I’m not even sure what you are saying, but I’m guessing you are stuck in the eighties I’m more with the gt3 style of tip not the polished one into two that sticks out 5” from the bumper Raw gray titanium is good, the blued tip thing no.
I’ll use smaller word next time. I do hear you about the tips sticking out too far. I put square tips on mine. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
