In haste as I am working, writing:

Here is a short amateur video of an epic duel between Jean Claude Andruet (Pozzi) and Vic Elford (Filipinetti) in their Daytona Group 4's at the Rouen Les Essarts circuit during the Tour de France 1972; Vic was either very optimistic with his dive bomb or had no brakes left! later during the TDF Vic crashed trying too hard to beat Jean Claude who won overall with his very efficient co driver lady "Biche" (doe).

My memory is that there was a Factory brochure for the QM that showed a car in that shade - or close to it . . . .

Who's the organizer of the Modena Cento Ore Classic?
Should the event be renamed into "Modena Cento Replicas"?

That black one is absolutely horrible.

The Daytona Spider 15963 is kool, it is the 6th of just seven RHD Daytona Spiders built.
Sold new to Mrs Diana Glass, heiress of Marks & Spencer department stores in UK. Car was born Azzurro Metallizzato but factory changed to Blu Dino 106-A-72 and then later resprayed again into Rolls Royce Blue Le Mans. Later the car went to Canada, then South Africa, back to the UK and on to HK. This is one of the Ferraris that has more air miles than actual driving miles. By 2009 it had 17'434 original miles.

Not that bad if you think it was converted 50 years ago already.
