Problems with Ferrarichat app?

you are encouraging users to have their data stolen? opening themselves up to security issues?

 

FYI we did get a complete list of all users on the app and did send an email to everyone Friday. The email we sent last month was unfortunately just a partial list of users.

 

As the founder of FerrariChat 25 years ago, please let me apologize for the confusion related to our app and Tapatalk problems a couple weeks ago. The current app and Tapatalk are no longer available, but let me explain. The underlying software hasn't been supported for several years and we had concerns with security, Tapatalk's use of our content, and also the monetization of our traffic. Where we made our mistake is properly communicating this to ALL mobile users. We incorrectly only identified a fraction of all mobile app and Tapatalk users, so not everyone received my email explaining our shutdown of the app before it happened. We hired a consultant and now have a complete list of app and Tapatalk users, so I am communicating again to everyone.

Tapatalk and the mobile app (that used Tapatalk in the background) were a beautiful solution 10+ years ago when the foundation forum software wasn't as mobile responsive. Thankfully with the upgrade to Xenforo as our forum software, it is now very responsive with mobile browsers.

Tapatalk and the old app are no longer available, but please give our current software a chance using your mobile browser. I know it is hard to adjust, but it really works well for those familiar with it. We will also add back an app version in time for those who don't want to use their mobile browser.
