Those examples look like they might be for heat exchangers placed ahead of the front wheels—something done on a lot of sports cars. The W1 looks like maybe the there could be some adjustable louvre arrangement for varying flow, though the lower portion looks fully open.

The F250 looks to be different in that the area behind the mesh is open and flowing out through the bottom of the doors, so the intake is not fully used for cooling, if at all. The mesh can actually be seen here:

Looks related to lateral side intake, very interesting that they are putting so much emphasis on this element, it probably means more than what it seems at a first glance.

It will. My multiple independent sources confirm the press launch tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. including the would-be F250 owner and reporters who are heading to Maranello right now.

Because press reveal of any car is always a few day before the official presentation, in order to have all the online articles ready to be put online at the exact moment of the reveal.

Absolutely.
In particular, a qualified prospective owner of F250 from my country, who already owns the old Holy Trinity and Enzo/F50/F40....., said that it's “VERY burst” and worthy of being the new King of the Prancing Horse after visiting the F250 last week.
Even more interesting is that when he was asked if he would also own McLaren W1, the answer was simply "NO" and "Not in the same level".

 

The hype is huge and thanks for sharing.
