I liked it. The black stripe is awkward and is a Manzoni stubbornness, but I think it’s a modern F40, for better or worse. Very purposeful. Very modern. Looks a lot better than the McLaren equivalent. I expect the Porsche to look better when it comes out but they usually are less extreme, and their design studio is better, too.

Happy for those who will manage to get one.

Need to soak it in more. At first blush I wish it had more voluptuous form and shape reminiscent of the P4.

A V6 seems like sacrilege to me.

The 24 hrs suitcase box above the seats is a useful detail plus the return of buttons. Great name F80.

The SF90 was the beginning of all of that. Ferrari is dead.

W1 looks better. At least for now. Neither designs are graceful, like P1 and Laferrari.

    POWERTRAIN

The three-litre 120° V6 F163CF engine of the F80 produces a peak power of 900 HP, for a specific power of 300 hp/l, to which the electric front axle (e-4WD) and motor (MGU-K) of the hybrid system add another 300 hp. The link with motorsports is strong: the architecture of this engine and many of its components are derived from the powerplant of the 499P which won the 2023 and 2024 editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

For comparison, LaFerrari's engine specifications are:
    • 6.3-liter V12 engine
    • 789 hp (primary combustion engine)
    • 161 hp (electric motor)
    • Combined system output: 950 hp

I don't hate the design but not paying that kind of money for a V6. Ferrari supercars should have a V12, I know the F40 had a V8 but a V6?

    NO FRICKING WAY!

I agree but today’s buyer won’t care. They’ll snap them up and then stick them in an AC’d collection where they’ll barely accumulate 1,000 miles so they can flip it for a fat profit when the time period is up. Maybe have them flat bedded to a velvet rope event once in awhile.

Sadly most people see these cars as an investment. In the past people bought them to enjoy and flog on the track. Today’s “car guy’s” are not the same.

Looks like they left on a few camo panels and just painted them over? Where are the sensual curves and distinctive Ferrari traits!? This has less cylinders than the W1?? The interior is 458 + LaFerrari + Challenge car?

I'm just a fart in a hurricane but if I had the means, I would be sprinting to LaFerrari if I didn't already have one compared to this

For better or worse, this *is* "the start of a new technological era" with the new tech CEO... along with SF90, 296...

Famous words come to mind... "mamma Mia che e successo.. oddio.. tutto destruto!"

So if someone gives you a 288GTO or F40, will you not accept them because they don't have a V12? If someone not well versed in high performance cars asked you if your newly gifted 288GTO or F40 were supercars, would you say no because they don't have V12s? Just trying to understand your view.

Nice because the black hides almost all the design. It's just a visual hole.

Saving judgment till I see it in person, but doesn’t wow me like LaFerrari did. To those who are getting one congratulations its going to be an awesome machine, and hope you can share with us what its like:)

Black stripe clearly used to visually shorten the nose. Similar effect to the stripe we see at the top edge of the hood on some models.

Let's put it another way; which sounded better a bunch of F1 cars powered by 12 cylinders or the modern version with six cylinders? No question efficiency is there now but the drama is gone...

w1 looks better but regardless, why get one of these new unholy trinity cars when price is now same as konigsegg, pagani, gma, etc? might as well get one of those at this point. jesko much more coherent design imo

As soon as I saw it my first thought was: Lego! Just looks like one of those kits of a supercar which only sort of looks like the car in question.

My first thought when I saw the design was similar to what many people had already said...reminded me of a Lego kit. Regardless, I actually don't dislike the styling. It is in-line with Ferrari's other cars (C12) and I understand they are venturing in a direction lead by Manzoni. With that being said, I'm leaning toward the SP3 styling a little more.
