I am thinking much the same, look at the size of the doors for example. Its a very heavy design. Cant decide if I like it or not.

Looks good, but the wheels on the launch car are too underwhelming. Anxious to see it with other options AND with the wing up!
F80 was the only option for me! Forza!

Looks way better in the YT videos than any of the stock photography/website from Ferrari. I bet it looks awesome in person as the lucky customers have said from the preview. Shmee said 799 production run, which is interesting. Assume that is coupe number only as they would not release Aparta and XX numbers now to have optionality on those later.

Also, numerous typos on Ferrari website. Not just the 'F8' on the landing page. Wild and unforgivable. Pink slip for someone today.

I loved it! Front end is already growing on me; I'm sure it looks even better in the flesh. Car is screaming that it is fast!

In person, it is amazing! The pictures look good. But in person, you can see all the curves in full depth..it is just great.

Dihedral/butterfly (farfalla in Italian) doors, which open upward and forward. Scissor doors are what Lamborghinis have, which raise vertically upwards.

Regarding the car, it is mostly what we expected, but I guess that pictures don't do it justice. It doesn't seem to be as extreme as the Valkyrie, but certainly seems more usable. A bit sad that it has less power than the W1 and also seems to weight more. I guess that independent performance testing will prove which one delivers. Hopefully clients won't have to go over Manzoni's dead body in order to have the fascia painted in body colour...

PS: If they wanted to be accurate with the name (which they were not with the F50 either), this should have been the F77...

The new carbon fiber rims have so much more heft in shape, it makes them look stronger. Really like this design, stands out in its depth in front of you.

I've never liked a Manzoni-era Ferrari more than this one at first glance... but still, this doesn't change the fact I still miss the good old Pininfarina days.

Slowly but steadily Manzoni has got rid of the four iconic taillights, of the front and rear Prancing Horses... :(

    Nonetheless it's a masterpiece.

You can also spec the car with an all carbon fiber body and no paint.

Also, judging by all the bracing of the rear subframe, I’ll guess the engine is not a ‘stressed member’, i.e., not structural.

As a design language the Pininfarina Fittipaldi EF7 would be more fitting as the F80.

(No, I can't write my disappointment in English!)
As for the rest nothing to say, they managed once again to make it heavier and with less horsepower than the MClaren. It is a mission for them: to stay behind them both in F1 and on the road.

For me it's a meh. That NACA thing is not working for me because it's not flush with the bodywork, which was exactly the point of NACA ducts.

Yet, I have to admit that it looks better than what the mules suggested.

While I don't find it as much of a letdown as the 12C, I still don't think it looks great. If the front 1/3 looked better, I'd be OK with the back 2/3, which I don't think looks terrible. I'm disappointed with the power train and disappointed with the design, so I certainly hope it does some impressive laptimes compared to it's rivals. The interior seems to be a step in the right direction, but I sure miss Pininfarina.

That being said, unlike the 12c, I could see this design growing on me slightly.

It's what we expected, pictures won't do justice, and never expected to be as beautiful as FXXK, but F80 XX will be more beautiful than normal version.

    3 weird things:
-fiorano laptime not declared on official website, while they should be proud of it....or maybe they are trying to record a rela lap next year with good weather..

-In all videos and technical extracts, the S duct is shown to work only witht he 2nd slot, while the first slot is never shown to have any air flow passing through, which seems crazy and wrong. Was it done just for simplification? It is something to make clearer the tech function to not technical people? Did they just neglect this? It's really weird for an "aero enthusiast" to see such missing part...

-the 0-200 time started with <5 s, then 5 s, then 5-5,5; finally is at 5.75, bad spread of rumors and merely there with mecca w1 (result of AWD but more weight and less power)- F80 it's a wonderful car, but I'm afraid it's still too much compromised for comfort and drivability, the real deal will have to wait for 2 years and will be track only.

    controversial, as seen in comments.
as I said who liked La Ferrari...
Sorry for those expecting more, we repeated for 3 months that the car is basically naked.
Will grow for most of you, as usual.
Some very interesting ideas, wich will follow on regular production cars.
It surely deserves F80 name, if nothing more for that rear spoiler.
Don't mind numbers, dynamically it is another level.
Congrats to future owners, enjoy in good health.

Agree, looks way better like that. Wonder if Manzoni will be able to dictate whether customers spending €3.5m on an F80 will be able to paint it or not, or if they are more open minded than with the 12C

Not sure since the squared headlights are not so beautiful, and in this render they are much more evident, miss LaF headlights xD
