Without the black center between headlights, there must be a dead body involved.

Infinitely better. Could probably be better still if the headlights were designed with this in mind. But what a difference.

Did anyone see the front end design of the new F80?

Reminds me a little of the 12C!

Yeah but the F80 looks leagues better than the 12C(for $2+ million they should !)

I want to confirm it by seeing one in person, but I do love the design. To me it is a mix/integration of futuristic and classic, a classy and tasteful move forward. I loved the 812 look before, and when I saw the 12C it made 812 look last-gen to me. I am happy with the direction it is heading. I am actually ordering a couple even though I am a spider guy. I think the couple is the right one to keep as perhaps the start of a new generation.

Finally got to see the 12C coupe in person. I really wanted to like it. But it reminds of a station wagon. That rear hatch with the bulbous design. Unfortunately i will need to pass on this.

It’s possible maybe im just getting old (in my 40s) and what i consider to be a supercar has a different look that ive come to recognize. 12c just deviates so far from that.

Agreed 100%. That is one of my main issues with this car as well. Anytime the roofline and hatch goes all the way back and meets up ending at the rear bumper, it just reminds me too much of a hot hatchback car like an old Honda CRX. It is really really hard IMO to make a design of this type look great! As of late, the only car with a design like this that looked somewhat good was the Maserati Alfieri. In fact, if the Alfieri was a Ferrari, I’d probably buy one lol.

The person in charge of the newish GT design at Maserati needs to be fired. They basically waited a decade to release a car that I still confuse with its predecessor… boring…especially when it could’ve been this ^. The alfieri is beautiful and they would have sold thousands of them…including me!

Im now seeing the beauty of the 12C styling. Its taken a while for me. But now i understand the design team's work.

Question: Will there be a more track focussed version ? The 12cilindri Competizione? How will that look different.

I cant see an elegant way of adding fins or vents to the current design but Im not a designer.

Maybe Ferrari will do a rear spoiler like the F80?

Enlarge the front hood vents --change their shape and make them larger and surround them with black trim?

Carbon fiber and alloy wheel rims like the F80?

Greater performance? Maybe add the electric turbos?
    Or add electric motor(s)?

I can see the hood vents getting "deeper" and cutting into the fender just like the F12. I also think they will look to the Daytona competizione for inspiration.

It’s now considered a GT- don’t expect a VS version
i Suspect however you have succumbed to the Manzoni kool aid since you are starting to see the the hidden beauty of the design .

Hey I've ordered the coupe which is arguably the more polarizing between the 2 models

So yes I've drunk the Kool-Aid, and I'm still thirsty.

One man’s koolaid is another man’s thirst quencher. Hope the coupe is more than you expect (Frankly all of us here a rooting for every Ferrari to be the best in class!)

Well, I have a coupe and am excited about it. No kool-aid here. Funny how people cannot understand that someone can genuinely like something they don’t.
