F80 Design aside. Let's see the new technology put to work.
Will it beat it's peers on different tracks? Isn't that the purpose of the F80?? Let's start with W1, AMG ONE, Valkyrie.... test on the same day.

    And without any engineers.

Keys + tire pressure recommendation. That's it.

I'd take the other side of that bet. The F80 is 0.05s quicker 0-200kph (after being ~0.5s quicker 0-100). This means the W1 starts catching quickly after the initial launch.

Trap speed at 400m (quarter mile) should be ~260kph. By then, the W1 should be ahead.

Ferrari has 100% understated F80 performance. Mclaren might have done the opposite this time around. Leiters joining Mclaren from Ferrari they had some inside information about the F80 benchmarks 100%, It will beat the W1 in every aspect. Isn’t it odd that the Mclaren also makes a round 1000kg of downforce? Except it does so at higher speed, big difference, but they dont tell you that.

F80 is no where near as good looking as a Utopia. The 4 measured center exhaust tips alone has more soul than the whole F80. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    :)

This is the Ferrari flagship hypercar. Its purpose is to be EVERYTHING. It should be the most beautiful, the most striking, the fastest, the most powerful, the most technologically advanced... the most everything.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me your argument of Utopia having a soul is non palpable. In my eyes its fugly. I would never like to see Ferrari go that route, design wise.

I've never known Ferrari to understate its performance (like Porsche and McLaren).

The common 1,000kg peak downforce figure is likely not a coincidence. I suspect it has to do with load limitations of the tires.

Indeed in the eye of the beholder. I behold that the F80 is an kitchen appliance design wise compared to the Utopia.

This Pagani is a abomination to my eyes.
Grossly over styled outside and Barocco inside.

To me the Utopia is more organic. F80 and other cars has a massed produced look and features. Look at F80 steering wheel for example. Suade and carbon fiber with plastic looking buttons just like the other mass produced supercars, even low end cars have this. Utopia steering wheel is cast aluminuim exposed with leather, and metal looking buttons. Many more examples, but I acknowledge your statement, the Utopia design is not everybodys taste.

Is there any information that the F80 will take to the track at Imola this Sunday?

I don't think I'm missing the point. The discussion is about only design at the moment. Not purpose of the car.
