For me, the point about the Verstappen/Norris issue is that Verstappen gained an advantage by running out of the track. If he had managed to stay on the track nobody could complain but to stay ahead at the vertex he had to come in too fast to make the corner. So, as both drivers were in an irregular situation, I'd just let It go.

So Max becomes just like every other driver without the best car. Hasn't won a gp in 7 races?

this is a good video and I agree

    key points:

    - F1 is over-regulated

    - as a result a great battle was ruined

    - Max's racecraft is better than Lando's at least in terms of understanding where the line is regarding the regulations

much like Austria, Max played the situation better, and Lando paid the price

Still out performing his teammate by the same significant margins. Other cars have improved significantly.

Car capability has always been part of ANY racing driver. RB is about to fall to 3rd in the WCC. You've got to go back to 1983 when the drivers champion was in the 3rd best car.

Yes thanks for agreeing with me. Just like any other driver without the best car. Many thought Max was God.

Dude don't insult Max by boasting he beat Perez. But yeah as I said many thought Max was God. I tried to tell you guys the opposite , he is winnless for 7 races.

It's what you do without the best car when compared to your team-mates.

Max's gap against Perez in qualifying and race is substantial.

Alonso's gap against his team-mates is substantial in qualifying and race.

Again, like-for-like DNF's in the season.

Can't say much for Kimi, Vettel, Schumacher and Hamilton.

I knew you wouldn't understand the meaning of beating Perez by the same amount as before.

Saw that earlier yesterday. Fans "invaded" the track with F1 cars still on the track....which is a no-no.

Binotto sees F1 as a technical exercise, forgets that is a competition where the objective is winning.

Do you even watch races or just follow HAM lovers’ IGs? Max won the sprint race Saturday and didn’t beach the car all by himself on Sunday… if you want to compare results with Sir HAM.

If I was in Ferrari’s shoes I’d be really concerned about the monumental mistake that was signing HAM, especially considering Sainz’s performance this weekend. I’d even try to sign Colapinto at this point and drop HAM at the first performance clause failure.

Besides the great performance and results by Ferrari this weekend, it’s great to see McL, Merc and UK press bitching and crying about Max, Red Bull, Marko—and everything they perceive as hurting NOR’s chances of the WDC—while paying no attention to Ferrari’s upturn in performance.

McL especially are the new whiners’ championship leaders complaining about everything from overtaking rules that they don’t understand to Marko’s comments that Lando is not as mentally strong as Max—proved to be correct once more this weekend—and that McL tried to turn into a scandal by suggesting this was an attack on Lando’s mental health.

    Agree,
We have a fair chance to capitalize on all of this in the coming weeks.
After the race Vasseur had a face full of mischief like someone ready to steal some big goddies..;)

What does that say for Piastri then?

Lando got shafted by the stewards, Max went off so should have gotten the same 5 second penalty, which would have put him behind Piastri. Or no penalty. Either way, he should not have been given 3rd unless he was able to stay on track.

Sorry Bas, what do you mean by 1983?? The BT52 was the best chassis out there, Ferrari had the best engine, and renault probably the best combo, but Prost and Nelson were the 2 best drivers....but overall, the Brabham was a top notch car, and brabham probably the best team..

I don't know if Oscar had the same updates as lando, i heard otherwise. True that Oscar race was fram from great, but it's only natural that with the diference in experience, lando bests him on many ocasions. Truth is Max just showed his much more than the car he drives, while Lando keeps reminding us that he's not, hi lacks a lot in close fighting, his overtakes atempts are at best poor, he only has one trick, he's fast, but he lack everything else. Oscar will be a much more complete driver, and right now the only one i can see coming close to Max and Charles in the future.
