Then by that logic, that moniker in your world must apply to ANY Ferrari with ANY mod whatsoever. Am I right? Are you one of the "originality above all" faithful?

The F1 for me has been fun to drive and I like that my car is nearly all original. It does have a Tubi exhaust, but that seems like an acceptable modification.

I’m not particularly picky about the transmission. I don’t know if I would have sprung for an OEM manual. The one I bought fell into my lap, and I’ve always been somewhat fascinated with the F1 gearbox. The shifts are fast and it is kinda fun pretending to be Charles Leclerc driving the SF-24.

That being said, I’d rank them like this (highest value to lowest value): original manual, F1 with CS TCU, converted manual, then an original F1.

I place the CS TCU higher because it’s an OEM part that has a huge impact on the driveability of the car.

Weird, well that does describe me. Flex, a 10 to 15k watch on a Ferrari owners board… not really. Btw. What color is your Bugatti?? ;););)

And people actually dressed up, when I was a kid if you were traveling for work you wore a suit and if you were on vacation you wore business casual or a loud Hawaiian shirt with slacks. These days you’re lucky if people wear pajamas and sit in their assigned seat.

Uhhh.... Maybe you noticed this is ferrarichat.com, not hearyourselftalk.com or blowhardwatchchat.com

Listen, I absolutely respect your knowledge as it seems extensive and quite detailed... but these are the weirdest, off-topic-est flexes I've ever seen on any board anywhere. lol

Welcome to Ferrarichat. We all are a bit weird, and many suffer from ADHD, so many of these threads jump around topic and then back again.

I have had lots of motors more than most, but apart from air cooled Porsche (they are shot to pieces) Ferrari owners are the weirdest I have come across. I genuinely think they get all self righteous and snobby because they have a Ferrari indicating money!

Not all of course, but this is my experience, by the way, thats a view point from reading stuff on here and going to meets!

First post in years, doesn’t look like anything has changed lol!
I plan to do a manual swap on my (high mileage) 430, which is the main reason I came back.
I actually like the F1 (though not as much as that in the 355) but I miss the full immersion.
I have no plans to ever sell the car (I have said that before a dozen times) so I don’t care about the value.
But… I plan to do it myself, and for me that’s a significant component of the transformation.
    Cheers!
