I am just about to hit 70k miles on my scud (last 10k by me over past three years). Unless I am mistaken, it may be the highest mileage scud in the world lol! (I certainly have not heard of one with more miles). More impressively, I am the first private owner, as the car was a track rental for the first 55k miles of its life. That's right, it effectively has around 50k track miles!!!! The key is that the car has been driven and fastidiously maintained (i.e., oil changes every two weeks while on track duty). These cars are stout. Before I got it I was told the transmission was "rebuilt" but I don't know why or what was replaced/fixed (I don't have that receipt). Also, the FI system was replaced (new actuator, pump, etc...I have these receipts). Came to me with captistro headers. I believe its on the second clutch but I'm not sure. The engine still pulls hard, no smoking, no weird noises, and oil consumption is within spec. During my ownership I have primarily done preventative maintenance. Only real repairs was replacement of both TB's, replacement of the ecu's (tb's fried the ecu's because when they start to fail they mess up the ecu electronics) and replacement of the oil/water pump (some slight weeping). Drive 'em!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but its not the highest, i found last week 1 for sale in switzerland with 117,000KM on the clock (effectively having driven roughly 73,000 miles) its not a big margin but im sure you can get the top spot on the podium ;) Price of the car is not bad either at roughly 140,000 euros asking price. It does have a horrible wrap on it, the red wheels i do actually like on the white

Awesome! I was going to reply today you need to post some pics, but you’ve taken care of that.

I’d be interested to hear more about your experience with the car; how long you’ve had it, how many miles you’ve put on it, any interesting trips and stories.

    Hi Ryan,
I document pretty much everything including running costs on my club scuderia on line scrapbook thread:
    https://clubscuderia.co.uk/forum/index.php?threads/giles’-360-modena-on-line-scrapbook.60297/

But in summary, I bought at 144k miles, I’ve had it 6 years and put on another 60k miles.
In that time it’s broken down twice, once with a failed crank position sensor and other a perished coolant (bottom) hose let go losing all my coolant. I give it regular maintenance and service, I spend plenty on it, as said, all costs are detailed on my club scud thread, around December time, documenting the years running costs.
The oil doesn’t need to be topped between services, compression is still really strong and even across all the cylinders and it drives very well indeed.
    Cheers, Giles
