Hello, After restoring the engine, I've embarked on a full bare-metal restoration of the body and sun-roof delete. I have a question about the chrome window trim on the doors. Specifically, I am wondering what finish was used by the factory. I thought that it was chromed, but when I buff it, it doesn't look right. The metal is non-magnetic and too heavy for Al, so I'm going for stainless steel. Anybody have any info on what the factory finish was? Thanks!
