Agree, could perfectly put this vid in the F80 thread but some seem obsessed with imposing their opinion

As i expected, the F80's sound on the inside has real character.

You think the sounds are electronically synthesised?

Nothing synthetic about letting/piping natural engine sound into the cabin.

Being a Ferrari promotional video, the last thing you would expect is that Leclerc and Sainz, employees of the brand, wouldn't say that this is the best Ferrari ever in every chapter. Regarding the sound we hear in the video, it is quite amplified and probably worked on and, curiously, it does not change between the scenes inside and outside the car, which makes me a bit suspicious.

Well that doesn’t seem right because they never said it was the best Ferrari ever. Charles said it had the best balance of any Ferrari and they both simply said it has so much power but that it’s also predictable. Does anyone here find that hard to believe? Carlos said “this is close to F1”. That one comment is what owners - most of whom will never drive anything with the power to weight and aero of a F1 car - will want to hear. This car will be brilliant.

The Fiorano lap time of a F1 is around 18 seconds less than the F80. Trying to compare the F80 with an F1 feeds the owners' ego but in reality it is nothing more than comparing the incomparable

Clearly he is not saying the lap time is like F1, no slick tyres will see to that. He is talking about the performance feeling - power under acceleration, aero balance etc. And he also said ‘almost like’ not the same as.

I don’t think we need to second guess these guys, they won’t say anything bad but they’re also not actors. You can see what they liked. They didn’t say anything about the looks or the weight, they did say things about the power and the feeling. I doubt they will say things that are clearly not true for them.

I will reserve judgement on the F80 till later, seems wild and fun exactly what it should be. My bigger issue (different thread) is Sainz leaving, such a dude he will be missed!

i did question the sound sources. But if the inside sound is like the video, then it could be pretty cool.

Tell me that you don't believe what you write, there is a whole complex system to arrive at this sound inside, nothing natural there, same for the 296.

F80 is the first Ferrari road car that regularly hits 300 km/h at typical F1 circuits. This is a classic F1 trademark.
