None of the press cars have the standard Black body trim. Instead every car Ive seen in the review videos have the shiny carbon fiber.

This seems like an issue but I typically wrap my cars and a bit of glossy black ppf (not inexpensive) to match the roof for A pillars, rear flaps and even all of the lower plastic pieces works very well. Adding some carbon to the upper visible areas makes more sense to me for both visual impact and practical reasons. I am considering the area discussed between the headlights, the little air inlets in the hood and side and the boot trim. The mirrors would be great but they look great body colored as well. So instead of paying 5k plus, I would probably just consider an aftermarket cap for a few hundred bucks that could go on and off depending on mood. Just my 2 cents for whatever it's worth.

    IMO Overly complicated
A top model and perhaps the last of the iconic V12 engine NA should have a better aesthetic standard trim esp given the large price increase

Honestly they could at least have kept the upper front section and the flaps as "Nero Lucido Verniciato". I guess a 12Cilindri completely wrapped in Gloss Black PPF is the only way to look properly... black.

Yes, after July 2024, they started offering FBWC as a configurable option. I'm not sure if there are customers that received allocations and locked orders before that date, but if so, then they were not given the option to change that part to carbon.

OK So after learning that now one can specify
glossy black paint in the strip that lives below the"over my dead body" Daytona stripe.

Ive decided to do all the lower exterior trim to painted trim in gloss black. A savings of 20K over carbon!

How did you get to $20k? I was looking at ~$32k for carbon vs $24k for PPE1 gloss black.

Also, what's the option code to make the trim piece below the front shield in gloss black?

My dealer told me that the savings was 20K
The price for all the lower painted trim is 24,333
To do it all in Carbon was over 43K

Maybe he made a math error

Anyway I was told there would be no math in Fchar

But yes the cost of Ferrari paint is hard to swallow

    Big thank you!

Big Question: Is painted matt black ugly and cheap looking

On my F8 the under side door sills are standard dull matt black plastic and I hate them

The cost to replace for Factory carbon was over 23,000 including labor and taxes

Im assuming that the standard black matt is still the same in the 12 cilincri

Personally I have to spend the money to paint them glossy which should match the other glossy parts on this car

That piece in carbon is code FBWC

Dont quote me though! How much is that? Have no idea Id guess it was between 2-3 so my price guess is $2,869

Can someone give us a proce?

    Wow!
    What?
So to do the rear diffuse, the side sills, the front spoiler and the front side little vents and the front strip costs $45,000!

So painting it all in gloss black Nero costs 24,333 a savings of 20K

I have seen a coupe and I can assure that the aero flaps are a glossy black color

    I have not seen a 13
c spider so I cannot verify the color of the aero flaps

I can verify that the top color of both coupe and spider are identical glossy Black.

So if one chooses a black exterior color, be advised that any metallic black be it N Daytona, N Stellato or N Purosangue or N Galaxy, will not
Match the top of the spider and its A pillars.

That’s why I’m suggesting a Nero Ds exterior.

And if going all the way, then select PPF1 Nero which will turn all of the lower trim Opaco/ ugly matte black to match Nero Ds glossy.

But of course Ferrari had to have the last word.
The little stripe on the nose under the big strips is a different v
Black Opaco and this cannot be adjust to match the Nero Ds.

But for a cool 10K it can be turned to carbon fiber.

But then do you turn all the other bits of carbon fiber for 34,000 and 10K = 43K plus the 10 percent tariff and the 11 percent sales Tax (California USA) This is now a 52K upgrade.

I specced all of the lower Car, because painting those parts was hardly cost-effective. When you spec the front lower spoiler piece in CF, it actually adds a couple of gloss black pieces with it, including the additional front spoiler vertical parts and the side marker piece in the 1/4 panel. So, diffuser, under doors, and front spoiler, and you have zero matt black on the car (not sure about front hood front piece).
