About 28, from memory (all types of Boxers, also 512 BB's and BBi's, not just 365 GT4 BB's). Marcel Massini

42509 is a 512 BBi and was born Rosso Chiaro 20-R-190 with Beige VM 3218 leather interior. Original engine type F110 A, internal #216. Original gearbox type F102 CB, internal #206. Scaglietti body #200. 24 May 1982 factory comleted. Delivered new to Ferrari Suissse SA, Switzerland. Marcel Massini
Thank you Marcel for the information on the Boxer! did all Swiss Boxers come with the clear turn signal indicators?
I’m not Marcel but BB. Carbs are where it’s at. BBI will be a little easier to maintain though. BB sounds better - more induction noise.
Just my opinion: 1st: 365 Boxer- Lighter, faster, more "raw", classic Ferrari top end "pull". 2nd: 512 Carb- Heavier, not as fast, smoother, better built in details (becoming Mercedes-like in the interior) 3rd: 512 Injection- Slower still, very smooth, easiest to live with, lacks the top end "pull" of the classic Ferrari, great car for today's traffic, best build quality
@Marcel Massini would you consider making a thread for #18225 like you have for #18417? It would be great to get all of the history on that car in one place. Also would be nice to know how many cars LHD cars were made in verde scuro met 20-G-255. Is #18225 the only one? Was #17913 the RHD car here: https://www.foskers.com/news/2017-08-25/ferrari-365-gt4-bb-in-verde-scuro/16 In another thread (“more old photos” from 2011!) you mentioned its ‘famous’ - what is its claim to fame? Thank you! Your contributions are very much appreciated.
We need some photos of the rear -- the triple taillights and triple exhaust tips are deliciously unique!
