    Hi,
I'm looking for an inexpensive ODB2 Scanner that can manually adjust the PIS setting on a 360. Normal Guy Supercar loves the Launch X431 Pro S3+ and uses it in his videos on 360s and F430s, but I am hoping to find something cheaper than the Launch for around $1000. I'm hoping there's something out there for around $200 that can adjust the PIS. Got any ideas of what would work?

The ThinkDiag2 would be great if it worked for adjusting the PIS as it is only $127 on Amazon.

Thanks so much! Being able to adjust PIS myself will definitely let me fine tune the shift points better than my my repair shop bc it's a matter of taste and personal preference as to exactly where it should be.

Just do it "hot" and don't be too aggressive with it

I know! I'll be moving the number by the smallest increments in-- .01 units -- and very slowly!

The factory suggested range is 4.5 to 5.5 for a non CS TCU

    Slightly engagement at 1025-1075 appox

Oh man, I didn't have my glasses on this morning and wrote ODB2 instead of OBD2. Can a moderator fix that?

So, I got the ThinkDiag2 and it worked for a few weeks, then it stopped working for reading the PIS on a Ferrari 360. The program would simply crash over and over during the PIS read.
I'm going to switch to a "Launch" OBD2.
Can someone tell me what the cheapest "Launch" brand OBD2 that will work for reading and writing PIS data to the car?

What platform are you using the software on? Iphone, android? On my Samsung phone, it just got updated yesterday and it works fine for all my cars, not just Ferrari... The Ferrari software on the application also got an update and I installed it..

I’m using it on iPhone. So the few times it hasn’t “crashed” during reading the PIS today, it gives me a crazy reading of 162 for the PIS which is simply wrong.
I also think the app updated before I used it and was functioning fine before the update, so maybe that’s what the issue is. I’m not sure, but I’d definitely like to get a “Launch” OBD2

I have this (but I have a 430) and may work for you also. Cheapest you will find to do what you want to do. You will need the diagzone software and I have the info for the guy that sells it. No affiliation so you deal with him through whatsapp to get the software. Works great for me and other forum members. Just realized it's out of stock. They had them a month ago but I guess they caught on. Try searching for it and eventually you will find one.

I used Thinkdiag2 app on my iPhone to adjust my 430 after it received a 360Trev ECU reprogram. Worked great, no crashes.
