Somebody mentioned that the FF tends to plow in snow more than a few inches deep, so that's why I'm interested in the lift.

FF and Lusso feel under braked at 10/10ths because of the relatively small 245 section from tires. It’s not due to lack of sheer braking power (8 piston F, 4 piston R CCBs ffs) or weight balance (transaxle).

Not worried about a few inches. I get feet which is my reference. She’s lower than the typical Subaru wagons the granny’s drive around in.

Both cars will suffer from pothole damage, the front tires are just too small.

Im 99% sure the Lusso is hydraulic steering. (812 is the first Ferrari with EPAS)

I found FF neither GT enough nor sporty enough for me. Lusso was just about right. (It came undone if you really really pushed it).

Neither wins style points but overall I slightly preferred the Lusso. Lusso interior nicer for me.

With more than a little snow on the ground it is possible to get the Lusso beached- Id say thats around 8” or so. Even with the lifter on.

Neither will be cheap to operate.

FF costing less will be the better value.

Not sure which AMG you have but I would bet it has a bigger percentage of weight to the front than the Lusso...

Hard to beat the value of an FF right now in the 110s for ~30k miles and in good shape.

I also love the Lusso but the value differential for me just wasn’t worth it.

Aside for PTU issues on the FF, between the V12 FF and V8 GTC4 Lusso T, which one is more expensive to maintain and/or repair?

The price delta between these 2 cars is getting smaller, so this is the deciding point for many people

I own an FF but would consider a V12 Lusso (I need the AWD) if prices come down (and they likely will). I have driven the V8 Lusso. The power is quite good but it does not sound as good as the V12 IMHO Stying is always subjective but I actually prefer the Lusso styling. Brakes on the FF are epic (unless you are comparing them to a 296 or similar.
