I'm considering a 812 SF purchase. Question for 812 and F12 drivers, do you swap over to an all season tyre in the winter? If so, then which do you recommend and how is the car to drive in the UK cold damp roads? Thank you.

You may find you get a little better response in the model and/or Europe sections - the latter as they tend to be more aware of winter tire use - at a guess there should be Pirellis in the correct size

The winter tyres on an 812 work well, not sure which ones Ferrari fitted to my friends car, but they were even good in the dry

Just my 0.02c but my only experience of all weather tyres (on a Range Rover not an 812 unfortunately) was awful. A poor compromise in summer on traction and positively dangerous in snow.

I have Pirelli winters on my daily Maserati QP. They are great, extra fun in the snow :)
I have one set of wheels, just change the rubber in April and October.

And if your worry is poor performance of winter tyres on warmer winter days, I would rather drive winters in summer than drive all weather on any day

Pirelli scorpion verde all seasons are OEM on many landrover , Range Rover inc .Iam currently running them on a Porsche Macan .
This car spends 2-3 months in the winter in the Alps . Snow , ice , etc they are excellent. Tend to get near 40 k miles out of them incredibly.

We did on previous cars run two sets of wheels , but it’s a *** storing and changing , plus the lessor used set tend to go out of date , ie rock hard before they wear down to anything like ready to change.
Also not mentioned running two sets opens you up to double TPMS hassle(s) .Talking from experience to all of the above .
