Lane, easily. The Big 12 is a joke compared to the SEC. Put Colorado in the SEC they would be lucky to be .500 And next years, after Sanders and Hunter are gone? They will be lucky to be above .300
That Colorado won't win over 4 game next year? After they 'graduate' everyone this year? They are 100% dependent on two guys that will be gone after this season.
Do you do anything but try to insult people that may have a different opinion than yours? That if someone doesn't agree with your sports choices then they are stupid? There is a name for people like that, but this isn't in P/R, so I can't say it. PS - I never said a word about betting - YOU did.
A serious person doesnt think you can win with two players. Speak on something you have experience with.
My comment about Sanders and Hunter being gone? My point was they won't win the Big 12 next season, i didn't say they won't 'win'. Keep the insults coming....
The Gators seem to have finally found their footing and are now bowl-eligible. It marked Florida's second-largest upset win in the past 45 seasons. It also was the Gators' first win as a double-digit home underdog in the past 45 seasons. Now I hope they don't get ambushed by a poor Florida State team they should be favored over, even in Tallahassee. But rivalry games can be like that. (Incidentally, 45 seasons ago was the year the Gators hit rock-bottom, finishing 0-10-1.)
Kiffin looked like he was going to cry after the game. I don't hate the guy, but never really liked him, how he would simply quit and abandon teams with little or no notice, a true sign of no class. (USC, Tenn, FAU...) His 'Superstar' QB Jaxson Dart looked like a possible 5th-6th round draft pick, with all the really bad decisions he made today.(not a first-rounder like Lane sez)
Parity is going to be like this going forward, every year, get used to it. The days of one team dominating the ratings like Alabama and even Georgia have are long gone, going forward. NIL and especially the ridiculous 'transfer portal', where you can switch teams every year, have changed everything.
How do you plant a flag in Astroturf? Should it be banned? I can go either way on it, I tend to say no... and nobody should be fined for it.
Only if the flag is planted (or attempted) on any symbol of the opponent's field. If they want to plant it on the sideline, or in front of their fans, that should be fine.
At least when it comes to recruiting, the SEC is still tops. ESPN ranked the Gators' class #10, which is a substantial improvement over several weeks ago; their three-game winning streak to end the season obviously helped, and Napier has also been hot at the "flipping" game. But that still puts their class only 7th in the SEC! In fact, 15 of the 16 SEC schools were ranked in the top 29, with the only exception being (as usual) Vanderbilt, down at #73. Poor FSU. The Florida game exposed a dreadful offensive line, and Norvell appropriately had a group of fine OLs lined up to take care of that. Unfortunately, their 2-10 record scared most of them off and nearly all of them "flipped" to other schools when it was time to sign. So when it comes to the OL, it appears that the Seminoles may still be terrible next year.
Yes. You "ban" it by never allowing your opponent to win on your home field, especially during rivalry week. That's how you "ban" it.
TODAY, recruiting means NOTHING. You are a 5-star recruit, and you are stuck behind another player at your position, do you stick it out and ride the bench? NOPE. You transfer out to a school that guarantees you will start (and pay you better) This is why it is going to be hard for teams to win like Bama did - no depth. The one key guy or guys get hurt, the backups are nowhere near as good, whereas even three years ago the backups were studs. Not anymore, not like it used to be. Think of Bama and Jalen Hurts with Tua as the backup... Look at that USC QB - Mills - started the first half of the season, and is now in the portal... How many second-stringers have transferred OUT of Georgia, Bama, Ohio State? TONS. Seriously? That's your reply? Do better.
Kinda wierd not to see 'Bama not in it, but getting blown out at Oklahoma was not a good look. NIL and the transfer portal has created unbelievable parity, but with that said, there's really only about 6 teams that can really win it this year, and almost all of them are in the top half of the bracket.
Ridiculous. Our lawmakers need to find something better to do with their time. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/42913316/flag-planting-ohio-state-felony-proposed-law
