I am not asking for help... You cannot help me, nor can anyone else here.

I am the one trying to help, by warning people of what they can expect by dealing with Kreissieg directly

You clearly have no empathy and don't understand the situation or what I am doing.

Thanks for being a holier-than-thou jerk, I feel oh-so-motivated to speak positively about you and Ferrari Chat now, can't wait to continue being a part of this community /s

Truthfully you're probably just a bad apple in a community of good people, I don't take it personally, and this may disappoint you but you aren't scaring me off from enjoying my Ferrari or what the forum has to offer

I can't wait until Kreissieg arrives to give their side of the story, I'm sure there is one. Typical someone with no substance behind their claim doesn't want to continue talking, then just want to spam dozens of posts. This folks is a hit and run.

I have thread banned @thunderman since he's made his point. Looking forward to Kreissieg's response and if it is appropriate I will let @thunderman reply then.

Did I miss the "facts?" Facts are things like.... Here is my invoice. Pic of what I got. Email of how I tried to resolve it.

So he allegedly buys a system direct from Kreissieg and they allegedly ship him the wrong system. He allegedly gets the wrong system....(which he chooses to not provide evidence of) and then has a problem with shipping the system back to them so they can rectify the situation.

Instead of following their rather simple instructions....the OP jumps to that they scammed him out of $5k. Further he decides to post it everywhere he can so that (I speculate) that he can shame a Japanese manufacturer.

Honestly I think I would require a stupid test before I sold $5k systems to people like this.

The OP's first mistake was not using @Bulletproof Automotive. The second mistake is not following the manufacturer's instruction. The third and final mistake was posting on Fchat.

Seems like the simple solution is to BAN him and recommend he seek professional counseling.

The reason you're getting so much pushback from Rob is because you're coming across as being persistently clueless.

You were booted from the Bulletproof site because you spammed them, just as you spammed us. Rather than figuring out why that was, you ascribed attitudes and motives to them that were refuted by Bulletproof.

Then you came here and grossly spammed this site. You got slapped down for that, but despite this gross misbehavior you were advised as to our rules and still allowed to repost your complaint on this single thread. Note that Rob's first post to you was neutral, asking for support of your claims.

But after being asked to back up your complaint with data, you refused because of "privacy" reasons. Well, there are plenty of apps that can be used to black out your private data before posting. Even a magic marker can be used and a cellphone cam. Sure it takes a little more effort, or perhaps the help of a convenient teenager, but you're the one trying to make the point, so the burden is on you. That's what most other complainers that post here do, black out the private stuff. Being unable or failing to support your assertions with even a couple of photos, puts your claims in the "suspect" category for many people, including the site admin and mods.

On this site, we've seen complaints rebound on the complainer about as often as they get acknowledged and affirmed by the user base. Despite the large user population, it behaves more like a close, tight-knit group. We're well aware that there are difficult people who create their own controversies and until we know you better, that's always a possibility. This is not a group that will give you "warm fuzzies" if you have no reputation while coming to us and asking us to take you at your word.

I can have our Japan team reach out to them to get feedback on the situation, but without having the customer's name on the order and an original order date at minimum, it will be rather difficult to get any information. If he's unwilling to share any information at all, we're at an impasse. To our knowledge, their staff does not speak English and any correspondence done in English is likely done via Google translate or similar. That said, we have fluent Japanese speaking staff that correspond with them and then translate to our US staff on their behalf. So best case scenario, if we can get info from OP, we can then relay to Japan and post here with what they reply with.

This is purely an assumption, but it's likely the OP thought he was ordering their valved system but inadvertently ordered their non-valved. Their website shows the non-valved system is $3564 + $1349.70 for shipping, handling, and insurance. $4913.70 before US import taxes. Awfully close to the $5k the OP is claiming.

Comparatively, the valved system is $5938 + $1369.70 for a total of $7307.70.

Should also be noted that our pricing would have been less than both of these amounts had it been ordered through us and utilized our ocean import services.

thunderman's first name and last initial is self-reported as "Jim S". I would think we're talking about a 2024 shipment of a non-valved unit from Japan to the US. Perhaps that will help narrow it down?

It's best to be precise. Admittedly, if he is unwilling to even give us that basic information, there's no real point in us trying to get involved or assist. While there is always two sides to every story, if Kreissieg has not replied in "almost two months now" then there's likely a reason.

  10. That assumes that self-reporting is accurate.

Based on thunderman's posts to-date, I am not comfortable making that assumption.

That certainly sounds like the most likely scenario, the numbers just seem to match up. And the OP doesn't want to pay $1,000 to ship the system that he ordered in error back to rectify the situation.

He probably didn't figure that out until after posting this thread when someone brought it up, then he was embarrassed didn't want to provide more details to prove that and was also cornered, so started snarling.

I had anticipated seeing allegation substantiated by detailed evidence as the thread progressed, but it appears that was not to be the case. I understand the OP is not happy, but he his replies refusing further evidence did not prove his experience was either a scam or a misleading service. Most likely conclusion seems to be customer error since he's unwilling to provide receipts to authorized vendors willing to investigate on his behalf.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

If OP would like to provide the name on the order and photos of what was actually received, I can have our Japan team reach out to Kreissieg. He can PM them or email them to the email address in my signature.

Curious discrepancy between the price listed on the supplied invoice dated Aug 19 ($4,156.60) vs the price on their website today ($5,938.00) for their model F348-06 with stainless steel tips. JPY to USD has only changed about 3-5% in that time, while this price difference is about 43%

That isn't any different than you see in other products or other industries. This huge arbitrage existed for a time with Ferrari parts. I was able to buy direct from Italy shipped on my FEDEX shipper account for a massive discount to any legit supplier in the USA. I had to deal with language barriers, import harmonized tariff nonsense and risk that I would not get what I paid for. The price delta was worth the risk I was willing to take. In this case Thunder took the risk and lost but came here to complain about it because he could not fix it. Thunder circumvented known channels all set up to get these exhausts without issue. It's not easy to be a business. Business has costs. Bulletproof pays those costs in "overhead" to be a real business that supports his customer and in this case is going out of his way to help a guy who tried to "two-step" around usual channels either out of ignorance or to save a buck or a combo of both. There are some companies that won't even sell you a product directly and tell you to use the in country distributor for exactly this reason. Nothing good came out of Kressieg Japan making this sale.
