You could try doing a reset by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes.

In my vague memories it could be caused by some moisture - maybe if it's the case, gently warming the lights may solve the problem (this is purely hypothetical).

Make sure the contact pin isn't stuck makes good contact etc. there is also a module attached to the light under the bonnet lid may be faulty

The only thing I did this morning was drill out the rivets to replace the leather straps in the frunk this morning. Could I of hit any wiring that would cause this?

So there’s 2 of these that get pressed down once the frunk is closed. If you push them both down at the same time… should the frunk lights go off?

    thanks

For your information , I discovered way back in 2018 that these lights are ALLWAYS ON. No matter if the car is locked or unlocked , alarm on or alarm off.

I noticed it when I went in to see the car and it was dark.

This is evident on ALL the cars with these 3rd brake lights. 488 , PISTA , F8's

However, yours are highly illuminated. I would look at the brake switch.

BTW pointed it out to the Ferrari Techs back in 2018 and FERRARI never replied even though I have complained every year on every free service ( I wanted this documented )

IMO ALWAYS have the tender on when not driving because believe it or not your car does drain the battery when standing. :(
