"Wet" is verb describing what Millenial driver does to himself behind wheel of 830 hp V12.

Shmee, UK YouTuber, made a freudian slip, "I wouldn't want to be the one to crash this Ferrari"

Then he brought up the fact that in a different part of his review that he was now filming with a different car.

Hmm. He later said he had placed an order for a car.

(You break it you buy it)

He also said in the recent Ben Collins video that he had never had a crash. The only exception was a low-speed shunt where someone drove into his Senna on the motorway in low speed traffic. The 12C crash is unlikely to be Shmee. He also claimed a 2.30 lap at Spa in his Senna. Pretty handy, but then, you can’t drive as much as he does without getting handy. (He said something like 60-80k miles pa in supercars, including a lot on tracks such as Nurburgring). I bet that’s 10x the average fchatter.

Not disputing that he’s handy behind the wheel, however he looks anything but in his videos. I have always found his driving videos pretty mundane especially relative to Chris Harris or Jethro Bovingdon.

Big difference driving your own cars though.. Plus, CH and JB are extremely good drivers. Is that directly relevant for most of us? Nice to know what a car can do and definitely good to watch.

I think he follows the threads in FChat
Would love to hear his side of the story

    He knows about the crash.

Im sure it is dealt with using insurance and liability contracts.

Interesting bit of history. A new front engine V12 was ready to be launched and Enzo wanted some test driving done .

The engineer selected a very good driver. The test drive ended in a crash. Enzo was rather upset and wanted to know if it was the driver's fault.

The driver was known to be honest and the engineering staff asked him to describe what had happened.

The engineers analyzed the wreck and confirmed that the fault lay in the car, in the rear axle design.

They improved the rear axle and this made the car stable at high speed and under throttle.

That new model went on to win a number of races that season.

Ferrari also recalled the few early models sold to customers for the axle update.

If he was filming during the crash he should post it. Still wouldn't click on it though.

Watch at 10m 55 sec mark for his "Stuff a Ferrari" remark He was shown driving plate number 950 AH.

Then watch at 11m 50 sec for his comment about swapping to another car Notice the plate number "956 AH"

Im sure he knows the whole story about the crash. A reviewer or Ferrari staff or? ?

So I’ve always wondered about how these press cars are handled? Sold? Ot do they linger gathering dust?
And what about the early prototypes? Would they be sold and then brought up to code for a customer?

This wreck is probably going to be sold wholesale as is but after new production cars reach customers.

Maybe a good trusted customer strolling around the factory could! Hey is that car with the mismatched lights tail pipes, and rims, and ugly camo decals available? Let me make an offer!

Get another chance at matching the interior green color

But i think due to the airbags deployment some of the interior will need to be replaced.

Mules and prototypes are usually destroyed. The notable exceptions are some very rare ones (like that black 458-LaFerrari Frankenstein's monster) that are sold as collectors' items.
