30 years difference.

 

I have this very same matchbox car on my desk right now, says 1986 on the bottom. Its real life counterpart is white.

 

I mean there is 3 decades difference between the moment I received the little car and the time I was able to afford the 1:1 variant Probably it is made around 1986, yes.

 

Here’s my first die cast car I ever bought.

 

wasn't trying to cast aspersions on your math skills - just noting the vintage of the little car. Was gifted my matchbox 35+ years ago and it took until this year to get its real life sister. I think it's cool that we have similar experiences!

Is it just a novelty? At that ride height, can't see it doing much in sand, snow, or dirt. Is the second rear axle driven?

 

Same company that built the 6 x 6 Hummer & sold it at BJ last year for stupid money, it's going to be part of a upcoming Netflix reality show currently in the works.

a ok, have not watched right. but now I see the V 8. but even then it will be difficult to adapt the second axle with an additional diff to the original gearbox. but would be interesting if they did how they have it done

Each to their own, but I'll never understand why people do this kind of thing or how, when they've finished, that they can stand back and think they've done a great job! Ah well.

 

I've always liked factory cars, no modifications, nature... I can't stand a sticker.
I think that this taste for modifications is related to money, the ego in short.
There are sublime modifications and others more brutal.
