Hello all, can anyone help me repair or find the mirror switch for my 04 360 spider, it works for both door mirrors from side to side and up positions but the down position on both does not work, any help?

Sounds from what you describe like it is the contact in the switch assembly. I personally haven't tried to clean the switch... but I'm sure it can be done.

If you're amenable there are a few on fleabay right now if you want to try a switch and see if it restores the function.. looks like $171 to $500 new from Ricambi..

Contact the guys at Specialized Italian Recyling also I have see this part on ebay for 85.00. I must tell you that you will need to remove the center console to swap this part.

There are two types of mirror switch - some have the L & R buttons at the top, the others at the bottom.

If you get desperate, I have a spare (used) switch on the shelf that I might be persuaded to part with.

Although the Audi switches do look similar, the rear is different to the Ferrari ones and the connector looks different too. When I get home I'll try and remember to take some photos and post them up.

I have an early Modena with the L/R mirror select button BELOW the round direction button.

    Rear of Audi PN#893 959 565 looks identical to Ferrari PN# # 153114

See below (Ferrari on top, Audi below). I've bought one and will try it. I suspect it will work fine. In which case.. why is the Ferrari part $200 more spensive' ?

As far as I remember Audi oem number is 4A0959565D01C.
My electrician installed it without any problem as he told me.

And the reason for being expensive is the 'cavallino rampante' on the item.

Yours looks very similar to VW part# 1H0 959 565 though not an exact match. Tons of possible matches on Ebay!

So is the AUDI part 4A0959565D01C the exact equivalent of Ferrari part 153114 ?

On the F355, the Audi equivalent has the wrong colour lighting. This may be the same (?).

Thanks for your kind reply but was hoping for a "plug and play." The connector pattern on the Audi switch is quite different.

So you have a switch which closest resembles the VW switch (mentioned above) rather than the Audi switch?

Actually both are different in the number of contacts. What I will probably do is see if my repair continues to work and keep checking on ebay. Thanks again for your input
