For me NEVER! Wonder what's going to happen to the green cars when Trump's already said No. EPA as we know it =gone, no legislation as said under Biden 50% electric by 2030. Gone! Interesting the resale of the current 2 hybrids. Nothing worse than electrical failures esp when episodic.
What is the price point of an all electric Ferrari? Double the price of the Tesla ? Pick your Tesla : large or small sedan, larger or smaller SUV, Cyber truck? How long will Ferrari make the customer wait for their all electric? 8 months or 20 months. Maybe you will need to be invited to buy one due to limited production. "All sold out!" 2030 things begin and by 2035 our leaders end ICE production. Unless we elect new politicians
If every auto is electric, then Ferrari needs to find its niche in this new world . The competition can easily offer a car with 3 electric motors and a sub 3 second 0-60 mph performance time. The Ferrari design team and TM/ Atelier bespoke design services will still be something which buyers want.
Where will Ferrari get its batteries? BYD ?Tesla or Hungary? Wait what about FIAMM! Another predictable first. All electric Ferraris with dead FIAMM batteries! Truly trickle down technology from F1. All electric Ferraris are removed from the road the same way the F1 cars are removed from the track: by overhead cranes!
Ferrari load each product with enough wow factor at a given price point to sell cars. In order to get public and customer base to accept concept of EV Fezza, you will see OVER 1,000 bhp for UNDER 500,000 usd base MSRP. Plus great styling for this one. Much to everyone’s surprise given recent mules. Remember these words well …
If the world bans ICE, then electric will be the only choice. But it will be interesting to see if some buyers will pick an all electric Ferrari over the Fwrrari ICE before the ban
".........our leaders........"??? Joke of the year. You must have meant losers. OK, I am aware of the P&R section. Marcel Massini
One US dealer conducted unofficial impromptu poll during Fall gathering. 12 of 12 customers stated no interest in FEV.

Not sure that stating the obvious, such as EV Sounds are all fake, is the same as sticking one’s head in the sand. The only real sound from an EV will be the whine of electric motors, gears and road noise from the tires. I, for one, think trying to make an EV have an ICE sound is stupid. An EV should not apologize for being relatively soundless. It should just be what it is. Kinda like this: If you want your electric guitar to sound like an acoustic guitar - just get an acoustic guitar. Let the electric guitar sound like an electric guitar. Two different instruments and two different sounds. Some prefer one over the other, some like both.
Late to the party on that Hyundai already has that with the new Ioniq 5 N. Apparently it also has the same physical feeling when you change up and down the gears. From one of the UK newspapers: “Then there’s “N e-shift”, which attempts to offer the feel of a dual-clutch transmission. Step on the loud pedal (and in this electric car, we really can call it that) and the 5 N will imitate gear changes by introducing a jolt each time you pull a paddle, the ferocity of which depends on how hard you’re charging. The car won’t “change gear” for you in this mode – you have to do it yourself. Run out of virtual revs and you get a jarring pause in acceleration, accompanied by the sound of a combustion engine hitting the rev limiter. Or you can set it to “change” up and down automatically, so the car sounds and feels as though it’s moving through the ratios by itself, mimicking an automatic gearbox. All of this has the potential to be teeth-grindingly awful; and it’s a tacit admission that an electric performance car can’t be as exciting as a petrol-powered one unless it imitates it. So you’d be forgiven for approaching the Ioniq 5 N with a healthy dose of cynicism. But climb aboard, though, and it all feels pretty much as it should.”
Everyone is switching to hydrogen, battery powered electric cars will be over in the next 5 years. BMW (launch 2027), Mercedes, GM+Honda, all Hydrogen. Stupid to build a battery powered electric car now, that will soon be a car of the past. I will not buy one and I buy almost everything Ferrari makes. Where is the styling????????
Who will buy that "thing"? I think they can sell all the project to Toyota, in order to save some money, now... Ciao
I think Ferrari know they have screwed up with this electric ********. They are too late in the EV game, and luxury EVs are not doing very well. That we can all agree on. Now, what could Ferrari do? They could 1): scrap the entire project and accept this stupid mistake. However that would be so damn expensive for them as they are balls deep into investing in EV-platforms and a new factory/production line. So then you have option 2): sell as many as possible to minimize loss. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why they are going to sell their first EV as a crossover. The upcoming EV crossover will probably sell well to begin with, but when the first wave of used cars hits the secondary market with a 50% loss, potential clients will back off, and this will tank sales big time. Oh, and it will damage their brand too. I'm calling it now, folks. Remind me in three years if I was right or not. And 500.000??? Pure stupidity. Whoever buys this car deserves the massive depreciation. I would not even be surprised if this car flops at day one. My god... Rant over.
