The New Year marks the dawn of a new era at Ferrari--the Hamilton era. Hopefully we can rationally discuss his performance, contributions, successes and shortcomings in this thread. All the best to Lewis, Charles, Fred and everyone at the Scuderia for a successful season(or two). FORZA FERRARI!

The only ‘Forza’ Elton is bringing to The Scuderia is Ferrari Fashion sales.

You and others can vent in the OTHER thread, let's keep this one clean.

I am very curious about how this year will unfold, it will be fascinating and even if I am rooting for Charles I wish Lewis the best, as of today 1/1/25 he is officially part of Maranello history.

To consistently comment I think we need to wait for the outcome of the first races. At this stage I'm very curious to see what will happen, to be honest recently LH had a relatively poor performing car so it does not give that much information.

Bit sad to see Carlos leaving, however I don't expect Lewis to underperform at Ferrari.Let's see how competitive the car is for starters.

LOL - That was a bit exposed this recent season. if the car is flawed there is a limit the driver has in terms of compensating with skill. Max suffered like others at times.

Not in the wet. The car, yes I would agree but in the wet the car is a tool to ones skill and talent under adverse conditions....which has shown, no one on the grid can compensate for except Max.

Not even a 7x WDC title holder can compete with Max in the wet.

The rain is an anomaly. Max is good as are others. Yet Max was without a win in 2024 for 10 races and in 5 of those he didnt podium finishing P4, P5 and P6 at times. Facts are he couldnt do more than he did at times given the issues with the car.

With the missing of Adrian Newey, the car's progress was lackluster during the 2nd half of the season. However he did extract way more from the car than Checo. Same goes for Alsono compared to Lance.

Some in these threads have recently touted HAM’s vast car development experience so I’m expecting great things!

Love him or loathe him(and I am not his biggest fan) he is a great driver and is now driving for Ferrari. I am a Ferrari fan first and foremost so I support his contribution to the team's success. Having said that, Go Charles!

No doubt he was able to obtain more performance than Checo overall good or weaker car. Thats a given.

I think his experience with the operations and mindset of other teams could help. I just hope he's a team player.

I think Verstappen's contribution this year was more than 10% of the success.
The Red Bull was certainly not the best car in 2025, but Max extracted more from it.

Same. :/ Seems Ferrari simply cannot resist the siren song of the semi-retired driver with overinflated stats due to a world-beating car.

Yes, can the tedious 'Lulu', 'Elton' critics leave this thread alone. We all support Ferrari, let's keep this thread positive.
