Their cars sound horrible but they rev them anyway. They drive like *******s. What’s the deal? Why do they gravitate towards certain brands. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That’s hilarious… the reason I love Ferrari is because they make exciting cars that classy smart people drive. To me the perfect brand .
I don't think you have been around the vast majority of ferrari people. Stupid actions know no bounds.
We will have to disagree, and Ive owned several Ferraris. Ferrari owners are just as douchey as anyone else. Possibly more so.
This. Hard to generalize — we have a super nice neighbor who has a ‘61 Corvette. He drives like a normal adult.
Every group has their idiots. The exotic car world is absolutely riddled with them. The unfortunate reality, almost 1/2 the owners of the exotics are financed to the eyeballs. Yet continue to play the rich guy. In general the muscle car guys build and restore their cars themselves and don't owe a penny on them. Corvette guys in general know they own one of the best bang for the buck cars ever produced, and could walk all over most Ferrari's in reverse. Some do display that arrogance. But for the most part they aren't all that bad.
I hate selling classic corvettes. I need to charge more to sell them. The worst/most annoying buyers on the planet. If anyone wants a cheap 64 fuelie let me know! Lol.
Do you have any idea how many people say that about Ferrari owners.? Based on your previous posts I have read I imagine you are very young. Take some advice from someone who is not. Judge individuals, not groups.
not sure you know many owners cause there are A*** in all walks of life . and not being one is not required to buy a Ferrari..
I've been a Corvette owner longer than I've been a Ferrari owner and they sound and drive fantastic, not to mention that many, if not most, of their owners are actual enthusiasts. Talk your **** all you want but to say American muscle sounds horrible is just being a jerk for no reason. Wut.
I wish you were right ... Unfortunately expensive products will almost always also attract people who like them for all the 'wrong' reasons. The distribution of obnoxious idiots is probably not uniform across all brands (as some brands specifically cater to that crowd) but there is absolutely no shortage of obnoxious idiots to begin with. Just a personal observation: This forum seems to have a lot more egotistical behavior than a comparable forum which is dedicated to a comparable brand (also has the horse in its emblem). Not sure if that really tells us anything about the density of douchebags across different brands, but it surely does not support your theory.
Don't tell this to the OP (radlu?) but as a longtime Corvette Z06 owner, I will admit that there tends to be a few schools of thought in those groups, and I don't subscribe to any of them...you have the (mostly base model) owners that think the corvette is the greatest thing on 4 wheels and every woman wants them and every guy wants to be them just because they have a Corvette...but they know everything about the history of Corvettes and there are a lot of enthusiasts in that group, then you have the (mostly Z06) crowd that constantly trash their own cars as being "just a Corvette" and hate the first group while making videos of themselves thrashing their cars like they are can openers, knowing full well that they are paying 1500/month to look like exotic car owners. Me, I just think the Corvette Z06 is just one of the best all around cars ever produced, they outperform pretty much everything in their class, sound and drive fantastic and I can't imagine not having one in the garage.
I love my C6 z06. I just can't hear that well and on certain pavement I couldn't hear a friggin phone call from the road noise. But that car when you got on it. The way that engine sounded... Just so tuned and tuned perfectly. I mean it really does rival the sound of most exotic cars. That LS7 did not sound like a lumpy small block. Just like someone tearing silk. It's nuts. I will say the biggest disappointment with the C6 z06 was the lack of traction when banking away a 2md or 3rd gear shift. I could flat foot shift virtually any viper with confidence... But that Vette would be in 2 lanes if you did that. Still an excellent car. Maybe one day I'll get a key stream blue one.
I’m a C4 LT4 owner and a 365 GT 2+2 owner. I find that most people who slag off on corvettes fall into five categories. 1) never drove one 2) drove a poorly maintained one 3) drove an automatic 4) drove an underpowered 1976-1989 5) car snobs who are more into image than cars. On the corvette owners side, I tend to avoid the corvette C & C events for two reasons. Too much political talk and newer owners that tend to look down on the earlier cars because they are too analog. YMMV
Imagine hating on a car cause it’s too analog. Case in point corvette owners are stupid in general I’m not trying to upset anyone and say they all are stupid but for the most part I’d say they have a low iq.
Wow, way to stereotype while also pretending you're not calling other people stupid. I bet plenty of users on this site have had or still have a Corvette (or BMW or muscle car). Most Ferrari enthusiasts like all kinds of cars and for most Ferrari owners their Ferrari is a second or third, or fourth car, with many having one or more of the makes/models on your list as more regular drivers.
