At first glance you must have the largest private collection in the world? The one from the classiche archive is just as unique and impressive as yours.
    I still have questions.
Do you work alone? Your annual budget for Ferrari books, miniatures, etc?
What are you going to do with all this later?

I have only one question! Are you serious? You asking much too personal in my eyes…

In reality, my questions are justified given the huge collection that they want to show us on this public forum. Now, if you think my questions are not serious...
Are you serious yourself? Culture is certainly a reflection of the quantities of books we own.
I think it's legitimate that someone can think about these questions.
I don't want to offend anyone.

For obvious reasons, those are questions that should only be asked privately (sending a PM) if you want any chance of answers.

These are all quite normal questions, nothing to be offended by, and up to him to answer or not. I think Massini has no budget, he just buys it all (the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly). As for what to do later, often means when you die. This is why there are auctions, private sales, donations, museums, etq, all resulting from triple D: Death, Debt or Divorce.

Exact Mr Bloomberg, I have personaly a small collection - like everybody - and I feel sometimes complicate to see no answers to these questions, not a good end.

We all have thoughts & opinions, so here's a little more of mine. I agree to a point about giving information and answering questions, however... when it comes to specifically asking questions concerning personal financial areas: "Your annual budget for Ferrari books, miniatures, etc?" That gets a bit sticky, and is where many people draw the line regarding posting personal financial information in a very public forum.

I have known Marcel for a long time. I correspond with him occasionally and he's helped me with a couple issues over the years, but I would never have had the balls to ask him this question privately, much less on an open forum.

He's a very reasonable person, but I don't think this is a reasonable question.

He may disagree, but I doubt it.

For me the question is its future. Will it become a national archive or stay private or get broken up or ….

Naturally, that was also the official motto of RAF no. 617 (Dam Busters) Squadron during World War II!

I don't want to be collector, there s something wrong in it.
