Belgian collector car picture posted today in Belgian newspaper interview: 275GTS:
From interview:
This is the 4th of 200 produced, signed by Charles Leclerc, and was exhibited at the 1965 Brussels car show. I bought it at Amelia Auction in 2019 for 1.3 million EUR and brought it back to Europe. The following year it won in its class at Amelia Concours d'elegance. It has been restored by Ferrari classiche in Maranello.

I’m assuming 08391 would have been strengthened when converted to NART style, so putting the roof back on would have created a car with additional structure that the berlinetta didn’t require. So can this be now be considered a real betlinetta again, or is it in ‘no man’s land’ (neither one thing or another?)

08391 lost its roof in the late 1970's, while with Brian Classic. The decapitation work was done by two ex Chevron mechanics, car was also fitted with a Westlake supercharger (note bulges on hood). Brian Classic sold the car to Swiss dealer Albrecht "Bräche"Guggisberg of Oldtimer Garage Ltd in Berne, Switzerland. I highly doubt that there was any chassis/frame strenghtening.
Pix below are from 1983, 42 years ago, taken in the city of Berne. Poor car.

Decapitation and supercharger are part of the individual history of this car.

I think it is the chap who lives in my sister's building in Neuilly; he has a Lusso, Boxer, a 246 and a couple more in an enclosed part of the underground garage. The dour old ladies of the building association could not understand what was using electricity in the garage until they figured out it was all his battery trickle chargers so they quickly knocked on his door waving a bill LOL.

All these cars were out in Paris today for "la traversee de Paris" (the crossing of Paris) a yearly classic car parade. At least in this cold they won't overheat!

It is owned by one of the main shareholders directors of Lacoste clothes. Nice guy, spoke with him when he showed it at Villa d'Este a few years ago.
