Overall it seems to have great proportions. My main issue is this gaping mouth at the front just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It looks like someone sliced off the front of the car to reveal the back of a refrigerator. The original DB11 treatment of the grill was much more elegant and refined. Groupthink in auto design is interesting to me. "Toyota made their grill 30% bigger and BMW went 40% bigger, we have to go 50%!!!"

BMW will take this as a sign of aggression.

I was overall very impressed with it and the design language of Aston Martin. The taillights are spectacular, the car has definite presence. Seems like this will be smaller production than previous Vantages. The used car market for Astons is the best value out there! I wish I had had these same positive feelings for the new 12 Cilindri -- as a matter of fact I have not had pleasant feelings for ANY of the new cars coming out of Maranello: 296, SF90, 12C, Purosangue ... Good job Aston Martin -- now that this will be out, I may be picking a DBS Superleggera for cheap with the massive depreciation these cars take. I will buy my 2025 Vantage in 2028 :) when it is 50% of the price.

Can the back area be specced in body color or will it be over the designers dead body ? (12Cil joke…)

I still think Ferrari is the benchmark brand wise but I have to say Aston has the styling down. I’m seriously considering moving from my Lusso to a DBS Superleggera or 770 but I can’t give up the NA V12…..

Agree it makes the sides look big, but pearlescent might be sharp.

Sorry but if you don't find this car beautiful...get your eyes checked...beats the hell out of what everyone else is doing right now, that's for sure.

Everything is very good except for the grill opening. It’s too large and out of proportion. It’s like a catfish gasping for air.

The only real issue I have is the vulgar looking gasping mouth. The could have easily split it horizontally with the horizontal line created by those break intakes. Then they could put the horizontal grille above that and mesh below. This would make a huge difference and probably fix the grill.

It's that weird carbon grill type of plate and those tail lights..very weird. Front looks classic, rear looks like nothing Aston.

    It's also too long. Big.

Well, yeah agreed, all cars (except 296, GT4RS) are too big.
