A well used and enjoyed example it seems, not it's first rodeo either, no doubt it will live again. Alloy replacement tanks I notice. https://exclusivecarregistry.com/details/ferrari/f40/29251
Terrible sight. Hope the driver is ok. What a shame to the finest F car in my humble opinion that Ferrari ever made.
According to this article that is exactly what it was. Image the call to the owner!! https://www.thesupercarblog.com/ferrari-f40-crashe...

There has been a few weeks of sub zero temperatures in the UK so the roads have been caked in a now hardened salt layer, but no rain since to wash it all away ( you can see the black mess it kicks up on the underside of the F40), they are like skating rinks at the moment as a result, once the boost kicked in a couple of seconds after the driver floored it he was simply along for the ride on those Pirelli's once they lit up the rears. I had a 4 wheel drift moment here yesterday going around a small roundabout in a far more humble car, being the driving god that I am then luckily I caught and corrected it, however it was a brown trouser moment though!
