A lot of people seem to be very happy with this car. I have a 992.2 GT3T coming soon. Do you recommend to buy a SRS as well? There quite a lot brand new ones available at dealers over here.
I have the 992.1 Touring and the SRS is a completely different experience. Tbh the only thing better in the GT3 is the front suspension/steering feels (to me), from a sound and visceral experience perspective, the SRS wins the reach for the keys almost every time. The 992.1 will swap out to a 992.2 Touring though as I want rear seats for the little ones, then the tables may turn back to GT3s favour!
We got some sun today and it warmed up a bit so I took it out for about 30 minutes, such a fun drive.
I like it better than the GT3s I had, more fun for me. Its so easy to throw around. You are a big dude, I think it will be uncomfortable but you never know. Can you fit in the Porsche race seats? That would be a start.
I am going to make a trip down to see you. There’s not one locally to look at. And yes, the interior cabin space on the 296 is tragic. I could never make that car work and I was able to live with a Performante/STO for over 5 years.
Just wear a helmet. Seating position is probably similar to the gt3, I'm sure someone here would know. I can't recall as it's been a while for me.
Damn, reading rennlist posts I want a racing yellow SRS now On the other hand a Sterrato looks so awesome too
I ordered a JCR titanium exhaust which should be in soon. I will post up some before and after clips. I freaking love this thing. So much to drive.
I seriously cannot imagine how loud that's going to sound inside the cabin, even with the top down. Be still my eardrums (and yours )
I'm thinking most of what we hear is the intakes so not sure how much louder it will be. I'm sure it will be great though.
JCR Titanium exhaust installed but had an issue immediately after leaving the shop. I have no idea what I hit but it destroyed the wheel and tire. Also, I'm trying to reformat the video so you can hear the exhaust which is epic. Not too loud in the car but pretty aggressive outside. Image Unavailable, Please Login
