1/ Flowing floodwater=If it's flooded forget it.
If you're dumb as dogshoit to attempt then you deserve what's coming...hence my newsworthy example.

2/ Standing floodwater in a 2WD= Walk through until water reaches perhaps midcalf on a 6'er and negotiate in 1st/low gear so as not to have water ingress into the enginebay and you should be ok.

3/Standing floodwater in a proper 4wd,not SUV,without a snorkel.Walk through until no higher than bottom of grill height then 1st gear low range through,a tarp in front of the grill will be an advantage and you'll be able to enter slightly higher water levels if you can maintain a constant speed
.
4/Standing water in a proper 4wd with snorkel and a 3" suspension lift,6 spotties on the front,15000 lb front winch,8000lb rear winch,4 aerials on the bullbar:Foik the walk through select 2nd high,make sure you've a Bundy in your right hand and blast the foik through creating the largest bow-wave in Youtube history!
