As a long time female Dino owner, driver, and enthusiast, what offended me (a little) is that the new owner was that adamant about his wife not allowed to drive it.
I just think the Dino, agile, light and forgiving as her handling is, is a perfect companion for both a male or a female driver. And, benefits from the empathic female touch & handling (just like so many men do).

Am I alone in that? How many of you guys do let your wife drive (and/or own) a Dino?

I'll be honest with you. I never had a girlfriend who wanted to drive mine. And a few didn't like riding as passengers either!

As much as we like them, its not for everyone. My father never wanted to drive mine either. Zero interest. My mother questioned my sanity.

Not sure why he put that comment in though. Stupid.

That's different ... I don't really want to drive my partner's 56 Morgan either. It's not my kind of car (and not an agile/lightfeeted vehicle at all). But, I would be allowed to drive, and if at any point on a long trip he'd feel tired, I would definitely take over the steering wheel.

I had a girlfriend with a Porsche and she would let me drive it, I had a much lesser car, I am all for ladies driving any car they choose.
And you, as the husband, etc. ought to have them drive anything they want. :)
