I’m envisioning (pun intended) this exchange: Dr: please read the first letter on the chart OP: It appears to look similar to a squid. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Haha yeah maybe I do need glasses but I swear from the back the 296 does resemble a Camaro. I agree on all other ways they are not comparable. Trust me - I love Ferrari.
I think you may have a point in how the rear lights have changed and so now it’s not as ‘pure old school Ferrari’ as before. But the rest is still very distinctive to my eyes, and about 2-3 light years away from any Chevy
296 looks nothing like a camero. I think the back of the gtb is well done but the front looks very bland and the bit where the roof meets the windshield looks like a buzz cut you see on a lotus. I am trying to talk myself into liking the gtb because the prices are dropping quite a bit. I think the gts is actually a lot prettier.
I'm honestly not trolling. I really do think the back of the 296 looks like a Camaro. But to each his own.
Yah know its funny. I keep confusing Phyllis Diller and Raquel Welch too. Maybe I need glasses. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not going to lie, first time I saw one in person, I too thought it had a bit of Camaro energy. The front lights are not aggressive enough for my tastes on any of the newer cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nah, I see it... Other than the mid engine architecture styling balance, the headlights, the taillights, the roof, the hood, the trunk, the bumpers, the fenders...they're literally twins. Freakin' Ferrari copying GM AGAIN.
I've seen you. You DO look like Brad Pitt. PS. I've actually never seen you but if YOU think you look like Brad Pitt, that's good enough for me. On a different note, have you noticed that the 296GTB looks like a Camaro?
^^^ Listen, it's an easy mistake to make. I once sat at a table in a restaurant with Charlize Theron...thinking she was my wife. Silly me. I go back to our table and my wife is sitting with the Ryans (Reynolds and Gosling). PS. Funny thing about the Camaro. As it's been mistaken for the C7 and now, the 296GTB, you'd think GM wouldn't have killed it...again And with that...I'm out.
I do not think the 296 is a beautiful car at all. The F8 was way, way, way better looking, of course just my opinion which as you know means nothing.
