PIN, key and fob

@gobble , please come to the rescue.

 

I'm taking out my immobilizer this week.

 

Your local Ferrari dealership can order your original PIN for you. They can also get a new key cut to match your original, or you can get a blank key and have a locksmith cut it. If you still have your red master alarm fob, then you can just get a replacement fob and code it yourself. If you don't have the red master fob, then you can have Gobble clone you a new black fob from one of your other black fobs. He can also pull the PIN from your alarm ECU.

 

He does not make clones anymore. He can do original ones now. Clones are not convenient.

 

Just received my immobilizer, red fob and two all in one keys from gobble. Installed it this afternoon and it all works great. It is so nice to have an all in one key because it is much less bulky than a key and fob. I highly recommend his service to anyone that needs more than one key and fob.

 

What's the current best option to completely get rid of the immobiliser system? As I just don't trust it to not leave me stranded one day because of the age of system.

Not much chance of getting stranded if you know your PIN and know how to start her using that and the key alone. Carrying a spare battery and screwdriver is not a bad idea, either.

 

Knowing your pin is the key.

 

This absolutely^^^ Had the original PIN # for my car but the fobs (including my Red fob) did not match it-- but they did work. Gobble (aka Mark) was a great guy to work with. He provided one of his key/fob units (they are beautiful BTW) and was able to realign my fobs to the correct PIN that was assigned my car.
The only way to go IMO. And ditto on the less bulky set up of a key AND a fob in your pocket.

 

I don't have the pin for mine and don't really fancy sending the fob to usa to extract it.

 

Does post #12 mean you are not looking for a solution or that Trev's (or Voicey's) doesn't work for you either ?

 

I know trev can do it as I was going to get it done as well as get his remap but at the minute where I am it is not currently logistically or financially viable for me at the moment. Just wondered if there was any other options, but I suspected not.

 

Chris- Eric355 can pull the PIN, too, and lives in France. Not aware of anyone in the UK, but likely there is someone.

AV Engineering is in your neck of the woods.

I had my immobilizer (and a few more) castrated there while on vacation in the UK.
I couriered it to them at the start and picked it up at the end. I even saw it tested on Trev's car that was there at the time.
My Tech's name was Harvey. That was in 2019.

I don't think the Ferrari dealerships will be able to help you as the 360 is just too old now. Where are you based? I am in Oz and we have a great bloke based in the ACT called 'Immofixer'. He does all work re: PIN retrievals, replacement fobs, fob programming, immobiliser repairs etc, and very reasonably priced.

I needed 2 new slave fobs and he made the whole process easy and believe me it is not !?!?!
