Does anyone know if the superamerica gas cap cover fits on standard 575s? https://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/2005_ferrari_575-superamerica_2005_ferrari_575-superamerica_431ebb44-f58b-4ca6-8a7e-95775a66fcd6-diDq2K-95572-95573-scaled.jpg I think it would look great paint matched.
Having it NOT paint matched just leaving it the standard color is the strong flex move (I wouldn’t paint match personally). I’m recalling someone having one….maybe @tazandjan His yellow SA tach is super sexy.
I would love to get one but before spending time/$$ I wanted to make sure it would fit correctly on a non SA. If yes, neat little touchup!
Check this post and photo #3 https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/148049254/ I say go for it! Any chance ferrparts or a dismantler has one?
Thanks! I wish someone was parting a SA! No luck there. Frustrating as there are some interior trim bits I also have been trying to source for a while now.
@tazandjan has been hunting for ages. Terry are you still one carbon interior piece short. In addition to your super sexy SA tach your carbon steering wheel is the cats pajamas.
Eric- Affirmative but have not been actively looking. Missing one door panel and have not fitted the stereo surround because the stitching does not match (anal, eh?). Do not have a Superamerica fuel door fitted.
Look what I sourced. Beggars can't be choosers though so will need to clean up a little. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow havn't come across a blank dedication plate in years. Good find! Will do Eric. PS Eric my good friend and mentor lives in Los Gatos. Next I visit him will drop you a line maybe we can grab a bite.
Can a superamerica owner show what it looks like open? Trying to see what hardware / any stickers it used from factory. Appreciate any help from a SA owner!
Finally figured out how to save jpegs in latest Photoshop (enable legacy save as). Image Unavailable, Please Login
The metal dedication plates can be restored by a higher-end jeweler who removes the prior name and can replace it with whatever you'd like. Years ago, we had a local FCA member who did a bunch of them (mostly 360, iirk ) In other words, if you find a used / salvage plate, don't necessarily be dissuaded from purchasing it.
Now I have to add that to my search list, lol. Do you happen to sell the ‘Unloaded fuel only” decal ? I can’t find a part number
It was 111723, but now NLA. There might be an updated version, with a new font or something -- there are specific market (USA, Canada, etc) wording requirements for that decal so they're not all the same.
Unfortunately like many bespoke parts, this is now NLA. Sourcing another will require considerable time and persistence like any of the other NLA parts that I am still on the hunt for.
