Steven, The world will never lack for pristine 308s...and if the day should come that 308s are worth what 246 Dinos are today, I'm sure the right amount of money will be able to return any 308 to its as-born condition; just like the Dinos of today.
I respect those that preserve every nut, bolt, and finish of the car as God and Enzo intended, just as much as I respect the vision and originality of those that modify and personalize their cars as you have done. I have a GTS that has intentionally remained bone stock, but I will go down a path similar to yours with the GTB I recently acquired.
I do have to chuckle at the purists sometimes though when they're feeling particularly high and mighty...considering the factory's initial intent to develop a Group 4 variant - subsequently undertaken by Michelotto - it seems just a little ironic to chastise someone for doing something the factory also intended to do at one point in time.
