The ex-Don Wassermann 225 Sport Coupé Vignale 0168 ED lives in Switzerland since about ten years, has been restored (in the Sebring 1953 configuration), is full red book certified, and was last shown at The ICE in St. Moritz in February 2024 as well as in August 2023 at Pebble Beach. what great pics from that day! My father, Bill Pound, restored that car for Skeets. For the last 8 months I worked in the shop with him. What an honor it was being at Pebble, waiting for the judges to come by to view the class of 10, one-off Ferraris. I have some great pics from that day, including Skeets beaming as he drove up the ramp to collect his 3rd place ribbon!
Amazing! Seeing the car like his, wow. So proud of the work my Dad did bringing it back to life and winning 3rd at Pebble in 2003!
…fyi…the whole front of the body was remade by the Hungarian craftsman at Griswold’s…Bruno was his name…the chrome piece is not original either…just so the historians get it right… cp
