360/F430 NorCal Drives and Events

There are enough of us in the group in the Norther California region that I figured a local events thread was due. Mods, I know there's a specific regional section but not everyone frequents that and would like to focus on our group of cars.

That said, my New Year's resolution this year was to be more active in the local community. I'm a member of FCA and FOC and have gone to a handful of events, but haven't run across too many people here or really that many 360's or F430's at the larger gatherings. I know we're all F cars, but you can feel out of place sometimes driving a 15 year old car when the rest of the group is scooting around in new cars that are worth 5x more than yours. Plus the one 308 guy that always shows up

Is anybody else going on drives or events in the bay area? There are a couple of FCA drives coming up in February and it would be nice to not be the oldest car there, lol.

Also, I figured this thread would be a better way to get the word out about any event or drive that might be of interest to other 360/F430 owners.

 

Anybody else part of FCA or FOC and planning on making the February drives? I’m signed up for both the FCA drives. 8th to Napa and 23rd to Half Moon Bay via Woodside.

Hopefully we can all shoot for the FCA event on the 23rd. Reminder that it's a club event and requires registration.

Afterwards though, l propose we do a 360/430 only drive just as things start warming up here. Hopefully early March.

 

Wrapped up the FCA Valentines drive yesterday. Pretty good showing. @ditpixs and I were there along with a Scud, and two 360’s. Didn’t get a chance to meet the 360 guys, but the event was pretty packed up. Had a 275 lead the drive through Napa to St. Helena. Went wine tasting after since we were in the area.

Next drive is on the 23rd.

Enzo's birthday drive/brunch from Alice's to Half Moon Bay is this Sunday with FCA. Anybody here signed up?

 

Should we shoot for just an evening hang out/beer dinner thing instead of a drive? Pleasanton seems somewhat central to a lot of us. Maybe a local brewery that has good parking and some eats?

 

I’m thinking a sat/sun evening? That way we don’t have to battle traffic to get there.

 

March 8th at BottleTaps? 6:30ish? Or would sunday work better for most people? Feel free to throw out some dates if this doesn't work.
