For low milage under 5k a year, oil every year, filter every other year. Ferrari filters are massive things especially on the older stuff.

I’ve often heard it said to never discuss politics or religion. Apparently oil changes are the third rail. I see nothing magical about twelve months on low mileage cars that spend most of their life inside away from moisture and temperature extremes. Mileage would be more of a concern so five or ten thousand miles could easily be fine if one wants to change more often. I don’t see how two years can be a problem. Ferrari knows a fair amount about engines and they are changing oil every two years on low mileage cars.
Two years would fit nicely with other fluid changes so do all fluids at once. I agree with ttforcefed with many cars over decades and no oil issues. I also don’t see what trite comments about longer oil changes being some how related to other maintenance shortfalls being helpful to the discussion.
The bottom line though is do what you want with your car.

Trite? How about stretching brake fluid changes, transaxle fluid changes, or F1 fluid changes, which many owners do not do at all? Like I said, when time to sell, buyers would kind of like to know how she was treated. Or sell her as one of those "no records" Ferraris.

I hardly drive the car. I change everything every other other year or so. I'm second owner, bought it Dec 2009 with barely 2000 miles. 27k now.
My intent isn't to sound arrogant with this next statement, but I am not worried about the next owner at all.

I do oil and filters, transaxle & brake fluid every two years on my 4 cars. None of them gets more than 500 miles per year these days. Coolant every 5 years with extended life Mercedes Blue fluid. My mechanic laughs when I describe the overkill depicted here.

I did the annual thing for many years and all I was doing was dumping out good fluids. Modern fluids are better than they were 30 years ago when the annual habits were learned.

I also live in the South where the driving season is year round.

    Each to there own.

For those saying I'm trying to skip the oil change, look back at the post. I said I wanted to do the fluid changes to have a baseline.
And I did buy the car, and it got its 2 year service so I knew everything was done.
I just wanted the forum's opinion.
