Prop bet hit - Dotson over .5 catches. Prop bet hit - JuJu over 15.5 yards receiving I have a bunch of others, one I don't like is because one leg is Butker over 7.5 points.
Agree, but I wouldn't get quite comfortable yet. I remember my Pats being down 28-3 in the 3rd quarter.
He is just as good, but they are playing like ****. He is a different type of QB - even Brady could not do anything if the team around him plays this bad. Brady cannot play like Mahomes, Josh or Lamar, and those guys can't play like Brady. And an immobile Brady would get KILLED playing behind this crappy O/L.
You can’t compare athletes across eras. Brady won 7 super bowls. This guy has 3. LeBron James isn’t Jordan either.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Nah, just your everyday South Philly chick. Can you read her lips? She ain't singing Happy Birthday, that's for sure. D
Well, the Lady G's Gulfstream was scheduled to come to RDU to pick up Janet and me but there was no parking left at Lake Front so I had to watch the game here.
For the Props, I lost on: Goedert over 6.5 catches, (he had 2, I figured 7-9) Butker over 7.5 points, (he had ZERO, I figured on 10) and Kareem Hunt over 46.5 yards combined rushing/receiving (he had 14 yards TOTAL, I figured on about 70 total) I only bet $20 total, just for the hell of it. The outcome of the game score-wise did not surprise me in the least.
Whisky. There are certain times we avoid Las Vegas even though we think of it as a second home and been going there since late 70s. We go every Christmas week but vamoose prior to New Years. Would never go Super Bowl or big events such as CES. Never go over a Friday or Saturday night. I had a good feeling Eagles were going to put up 40+ on those guys.
On the contrary, Brady has had to play behind a poor O/L at times. He compensated by getting rid of the ball quickly rather than running around (which he wasn't good at). And Belichick helped him out by calling run plays. I don't know what Reid was thinking. Not that KC would have won the game, but at least make that Philly D/L think they have to play run for a split second.
I have never been IN Vegas - just drove by it several times on I-15. Oh - I HAVE stopped at the InNout Burger that is on Sahara Blvd, but that's it. Since I have never really been there, I am looking at visiting, but like you, not on a weekend. (weekend rates are stupid crazy) I plan on getting there on a Sunday, leaving on Thursday, and as dumb as this sounds, I plan on staying in a different Hotel every night.... so I can experience different parts of it... Trump, 'D', Luxor maybe, El Cortez (Jackie Gaughn was from here).... Maybe in June... The SB didn't surprise me one bit, I knew in the first 5 minutes the game was over, the body language I saw from the entire KC offense was the worst I have seen from just about any team all season long. (There was a game or 3 where Jacksonville's sucked just as bad, Miami too)
That's why I don't gamble much... But isn't it funny how we all say 'dammit! I KNEW that!!' after the fact...?
Yeah, it was reminiscent of how Buffalo went completely away from the run when they played KC a month ago, and how Baltimore went totally off-script when they played KC in the playoffs a year ago... KC never had a vertical offense this season, or last season, all they did was dink and dunk all year, which is fine if you can do that uninhibited, but the KC receivers looked LOST in the SB, all but Xavier. It looked like KC was afraid to throw - or run. The way KC played I don't think they would have beat about 26 tems in the NFL, they looked that bad. Totally unprepared, totally lost on the field (on offense, that is). And the defense just got worn-out.
HOF QB Steve Young stole my comment - he too said: 'I don't recall seeing a team play with zero emotion - on offense - as bad as KC did in the last 25 years of watching games'
