Nice to see a strong sale by Glenn I am over 3k on my gtb now and told my wife’s on a drive in the wine country today, that this is my all around/daily favorite Ferrari yet. I love the car….it really is brilliant. No plans to sell so I will just watch this thread develop over time ;)

Nonetheless I suspect those young recipients of such a generous gift become quite attached to Ferrari. I know very few people that hate Ferrari after driving one.

Thanks and appreciated - 100% will buy Ferrari's and pass along - esp vintage like Dino.

    lol great point

  6. I don't disagree, but do you think that's confirmation bias, or because of the actual engineering qualities of the car?

Nah … these are fantastic cars. The best car I’ve owned to date. I’m not bothered by the depreciation. Cars typically aren’t investments.

This just gives me more of an excuse to drive and enjoy it more often.

Amazing cars…great engineering…great noise….great drive. Most people who complain about them have never driven one, let alone owned one. If you want an investment buying almost any new car is not the thing to do!

Have a GTS delivered and coupe on the boat on the way. Best all around Ferrari I have ever owned… coming from a guy with a F12 and a Speciale. The 296 is amazingly comfortable, sounds good, and is most importantly: fun to drive!

wow better than a specile and F12 wow! good to hear. i'm having buyers remorse (haven't traded in F12 and maybe 458 yet) but cannot reverse the deal. anyhow glad to hear your two cents on it.

also agreed if you are worried about depreciation you should not be in the exotic car market

296 is best all around. Speciale is best at giving you that raw Ferrari racing feeling and F12/812 has the most glorious sound ever!

The only people who will be disappointed by owning an exotic car are those who measure return in dollars and not in joy!

Sign me up! I’m actually quite excited by buying one… now- at $145K off with 3 years warranty and 1700 miles and full PPF wrap and window tint. Life is good.

Everyone wants to play the game. Buy a new Ferrari; drive it for under 1k miles and then turn it back in for what you paid; and get the next car.

That game is over. You want to own a Ferrari you need to pay the piper.

That said the 296 is a fantastic car. It is the best car I own and also have a Speciale and F355 GTB. People who don't own the car are the ones who troll on this site. Drive the car and then see how it feels to drive something else. Also since the game is over, best to use the car and enjoy it.

I have bought numerous special cars with 200- 500 miles. They have all been essentially new. I’m sure there is an exception- and it’s not the rule.

Honestly before he started talking about depreciation and while he was talking about the engineering and styling and performance aspects of the car I felt even more excited and reassured about buying my 2025 GTB. All early production cars from all makers have growing pains. Ferrari is no different. They learn and adapt. Also thankfully I’m not in the UK so this video just made my day :)

This guy does not give anything other than a list of cars , no specs, mileage just assumptions. he then goes onto saying the VS may not happen, well that is total BS! 29 April there is a ‘digital launch’.

This is a channel to forget

If the spiders follow the depreciation path of the GTBs, I’ll definitely be a buyer next spring/summer.

I can’t imagine I’m the only one with this mindset though, so maybe that will provide a floor for prices.

I cancelled my order for a new one and have no regrets about that, but a nicely optioned used one south of MSRP with a CPO warranty sounds compelling.

I just purchased a 296 coupe because it was too compelling as an almost new car. Sold a 4RS and plus 25% gets me a $486K MSRP 296 with 1700 miles and 3 year warranty. Now that’s value. :)
