Is a good one ( '' like with like '' condition ) really worth 1/3 the price of a Daytona ? More 1/2 I would say to be a fair price today.

When I made that comment, (five years ago) it was a fair comparison. Today I’d say 40%. Schmidt has Stallone’s C4 and they are asking $230

I always liked the C/4 with mag rims vs wire wheels. Borranis look great on a 330, 275 or other older cars. But both the C/4 and the Daytona seem “out of sorts” with Borranis. There designs are more modern vs the look of traditional Ferraris.

Well , very debatable. Not everyone today has the stomach to redo a 365 ( any, like I am doing ) from the ground up today. Stallone's C4 needs just that together with the chassis, body and interiors. Hence the asking price. There are Daytonas in similar condition going for 450.

Also, Ferrari were not very happy seeing their 365s on Borranis , this due to the strenght of Borranis when considering braking from that speed with the car's weight in mind.

Germany had some stronger prices back in the days and i hope the GTC/4 get some more love in the future.
Paid 300K for a very original, 80% first paint survivor, matching, full set and great provenance and invested 150K.
Would say one of the really nice GTC/4 out there and yes my invest is a very good 1/2 Daytona.

You are correct, Mine was priced at 300k as well in Germany, and it was the best I could find in 2022 . After that I invested 130k in it , so there we are. It is true that you can find a needy car on the market at 230/250 but what you need to spend on it to make it as it should be is quite expensive and costs are going up year after year. Besides that, you also need to consider the time there is without it whilst it is being done. They are not easy to find due to their numbers built and some lost in time. Therefore a perfect one needs 450k to be covered. A perfect Daytona fetches anywhere between 650 and 750. Here is mine :) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Drove to a friends house yesterday...100 mile round trip. Weather here nice and cool, car performed flawlessly.
Recent carb tune at EMC here in Phoenix. Amazing how well the car starts, idles, and runs now.
Such a pleasure to drive. Yes, I have slow 2nd gear sychros and a few oil leaks up front..... but not going to worry about it.

Won't worry about rust here in Arizona, and car doesn't get driven in poor weather. Heck, I haven't even washed it since I bought it . Just Cali duster and some diamond finish (a great product) for bugs and clean-up.
Motor never been pulled.... leaks at the front, leaks at the back.... not too bad so I'll leave it alone.
