At some point I did buy the inner and outer carbon door sills. I've always loved the inter ones because theres so much carbon. Bought new door pulls for the scuderia door cards. I now wanted to install/work on the carbon door cards. The F430 are missing allll the brackets and unless you have a scuderia door you have to make brackets for them, so with mwstewart idea I copied his design and started to make brackets myself. Test fitting and installing took a little over 10 hours on each side Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Now the next thing I did was to change out all of the Tan leather to black alcantara. The reason I had to do this was because I couldn't find tan race seats for my tan interior. I originally wanted to keep this car red/tan and in leather, and this way I didn't have to change much . I looked 2 years for tan seats and probably missed 2 sets overseas but couldn't find them here in the US. I had the pista seats so I figured I'd use these and just covert the interior to black. Going this route I now had to do the carbon door panels and change everything thats tan...pilars, windshield panel, sun visors, rear panel, ecu covers rear side pilars, rear storage box, center tunnel, front tunnel and now the roll over bar. I didnt get to take a picture of the before but heres a little bit. Also with more subwoofer...means radio delete. Also the pista seats are in, i ordered new seat belt buckles for both side and it was plug and play for race seats, my car didnt have the smart baby so it didnt have the CPOD child safety airbag sensor. ...passenger side didn't need a seat belt buckle plug but the divers did, so the only wire hookup is the divers side. Part number to my airbag ecu was pn #192789, so if you have that box you dont need CPOD's . @veilstylez are you going to attempt to make the doors look exactly like the 16m with the upper speaker or or just keep it like the scud? FYI, there is one 16m door panel on eBay right now.
. Thank you! Thank you Yes do the carpets! I actually have mine if you want. Thank you! I will post more pics! . Thank you. Man the hoops are a pain.....The carbon hoops cover is 75% carbon and the rest is fabric(leather, alcantara) if you remove the factory fabric(which one of mine were removed) you need to hand stitch them back on because there are holes in the carbon already from the first time they stitched it,, and making new holes will brake the carbon. . Thank you . Thank you
Thank you ! Thank you ! I radio deleted the car...so these scud doors work out perfectly for me..no need for upper speakers.
Some more rear panel install pics The rear mesh pockets are off a scud. And the rear center bench is for a non subwoofer so its flat. So check out these hoops....Im been working on these for the last 4 hours hand stitching the alcantara back to the carbon hoops. As you can see its more like 55% carbon for the back and 45%. I have to hand do it because these already have holes in them and to use a machine to re-hole would problem brake them as the carbon on these are really really thin as they are just covers. I more jealous of your car.. you have the ultimate car. I know of a pair ...Ill hit up the guy to see if he still has it.
These are incredible and thanks for the detailed pics - trying to get some made as just like Mikey (and I’m sure many others) I’d love to have them. Such a cool project you’re doing
Man the dash was a pain too. When I heard I had to remove the steering and all the controls on the column I almost didnt do it. But my good friend pushed me to. After removing all the dash screws I could't get it out. It was stuck like there was one or 2 more screws left but nope it was just over adhesive'd on and just baked in so I had to forcefully pull the dash off. This actually took me about 4 hours to pull off and another 4 to install . Wow! Simon, that's very nice and very impressive. Alcantara looks really great and will not shrink etc like the real leather. But also looks like a huge amount of work. Certainly a project only for those with a lot of self confidence. What is your plan for the center console? We are starting to provide Carbon Fiber center consoles to optionally go with our gated conversion kits in case it is of interest.
love the dual leather/alcantara look. Was thinking about doing the same when I take mine out. Looks excellent.
Wow - serious time and $ here - but so worth it!!! Love it! Hope to see your car around SoCal sometime!
