While this subforum is heavily OEM-only, I did want to share this for the odd party who appreciates it.

19in OE Hamann wheels designed explicitly for the 355 and 512TR (aka no spacers/adaptors/etc). They permit running a much better and wider tire selection vs OEM 18s while keeping the OEM 18s safely in storage. Modern 19s mean better ride, grip, braking, wet control etc vs the usual 18in offerings too.

As far as I have been able to tell, this is the only photo documented use (and only use period this side of the Atlantic). This size spec was extremely rare as Hamann/OZ was focused on selling the bread butter 360/430 sizes which account for well over 90% of the wheels.

Yes lowering the car is warranted (the last photo though was before it was fully lowered) but given the wheels are now for sale, never ended up doing so.

I know this is a whinge, but considering the standard weight of the 512TR wheels (maybe its the rubber thats on them given the size of the back wheels), man, they weigh a ton..
I struggle to mount the rears with any sort of poise...

so anything that looks lighter, you have to consider..
unfortunately I am a stickler for originality, so I have to put up with the original 'mega ton' wheels :)

Good intuition Anthony... the Hamann wheels are actually lighter than the original Speedline 18in wheels (all three versions but if we are talking about the standard monoblocks, by between 3-4lbs each). The lighter wheels are gentler on the suspension and improve the ride as well.

Hey Omar, no issue with non-OEM wheels here! I didn't realize the sizes/offsets are the same for the 512TR and 355.

They are not but close enough for our needs (similar to say 456 and 550/575).
IDing Power shared then between models too with their F50 style BBS mono blocks, both using 18x8 ET34 18x10.5 ET65.

Do you have a model number or vendor link to look at the pricing and options for an 87 TR ?

'87 is a single lug car. It would have to be bespoke/custom as few make viable single lug options in the required spec. I would reach out to @Raylex as he has tasteful updated wheels on his TR.

Howard a man of my own heart! I have the same brake it on my car and love it.

If you end up wanting the Hamanns, shoot me a PM we can chat offline. I think they compliment the larger brembo brakes extremely well (as you can see in my photos)
