He has told us twice to trust him so I think it is time we do. The 550 is the best. Don't make him say it again.
Pretty much anytime someone opens with "Trust me" and then doesn't say anything useful of consequences, i pretty much think they are totally full of $h1t from that point on
My favorite version of the Maranello…..had a 550, then 575 F1….then this SuperAmerica for 15 years. Now it has a 3rd pedal… Image Unavailable, Please Login
You converted it? How did you like the 575 vs 550? Tonight I dreamt I drove the silver 550 I saw last saturday, ahah
Nicola….I purchased a new 2003 360 F1 Spider after trading in my 355. I loved the 355. But I did not like the 360. So I traded it for my 330 GTC and a 550 + $30k. I had never driven a 550. What a great car!! After selling the 550 to buy a 2002 575 F1 I did not like the 575. Seemed it got softer and not as much fun as the 550. But when I saw the SA at Miller Motorcars I had to buy it and sold the 575. I loved the SA from the beginning! Been in my stable since 2008. Yes….I had SA converted to a manual at ExoticarsUSA in New Jersey. Will deGroot knows how to properly perform the conversion. I have only driven it 10 miles since I have been in FL for the winter. The SA is at home in North Carolina. Can’t wait to drive it again soon when spring time arrives.
At first I raised an eyebrow, the part you never need to leave out is “under a million dollars.” makes more sense to me now.
As a former long term owner of a 328 GTS, a Daytona, and a 550 Maranello, I highly recommend the 328! I never connected with the 550. It always felt more like I was piloting it instead of driving it. It never gave me anywhere near the feedback or connection to the road of the Daytona or 328.
