I saw a matte black one on the street today coming from the opposite direction, I couldn't work out what it was until it went past and the saw the wing it looked like an alien spaceship, absolutely insane street presence it was jaw dropping, I can not wait for mine.
Do you think the matte black changed your reaction to the car and its street presence? I ask because my base color is aluminium lucido.
TBH I wouldn't select matte black for this car and I like matte black, the reason I wouldn't is because I see it as a missed opportunity to do something truly spectacular with the design by playing with the lines of the car, having said that there is no denying that in the wild passing by it looked simply evil and menacing in a very good way, also it just happens that almost 10 minutes after I saw a AF Coupe in matte gray, I must say the presence was nowhere near as the one of the matte XX

There are already 2 sold in UK and 1 for sale in Dubai, there are too many limited editions now. People waited about 7 years to see the 812 Competizione from F12 TDF, but at this moment, some owners even haven't received their 812 Competizione, and we all know 296 VS is incoming...And also the generation shift is a problem, lots of big collectors (especially in HK, Japan for I know) are too old to drive or even purchase cars.
There are too few special cars like Competizione, Laferrari. Although it has to be said, on the road the SF90 XX is a demonstration of power. The car's presence is enormous, but in a positive way. Definitely successful and the sound from gear changes in the exhaust are marvellous.
I'm not normally drawn to such aggressive designs. But it just works on this car. I think they look fantastic. So excited for everyone fortunate enough to get one. I've really been enjoying seeing how folks spec them. Can't wait to hear more impressions of the driving experience too.
