Jim Russell owned the car prior to Spector. Fred Simeone acquired the car through broker Martin Eyears who finally closed the deal. There were a few legal issues to resolve before Fred took possession of it.

All of them. Not a real one in the video.

Good to hear Phil Hill though speaking of his Sebring '62 GTO class win.

As it is stated that Ferrari Classiche themselves do not do any work, is it known which authorised carrozzeria made the new nose?

As I have said many times before, the problem with Classiche and "their" restorations is that the nose on the car now, will always be the "correct" nose in the factory's view.

Only for as long as the real historians are alive or being recognized. The insidiousness of the current situation is they are achieving some success in rewriting history. We see it right here every day.

Evidence will always exist but so will the Maranello propaganda machine.

With the advent of Artificial Intelligence even those period photos can be altered.
One more reason for present and future historians to keep physical copies of said photos as well digital copies stored in an off-line device.

3765 LM is at Bacchelli & Villa being prepared for the Cavallino Classic in Modena in May and interestingly for Classiche Certification.

For it to be Classiche Certified are they going to:

Change the nose back the letterbox slot as when converted to 250 GTO spec by Ferrari?
    or
Fit a 4 litre tipo 163 engine and 4 speed gearbox?

If they are going to change the nose will they have enough time before the event?

Surely it wouldn't get certified under the current Classiche rules as the car is now?

    See IG post video here.

4675 is a tricky case as the car was very seriously crashed in 1965 and very quickly repaired so it could carry on racing. Best described as "looks different now". I always loved the repaired car, seeing it as a sort of a hot rod hybrid between a GTO and a 275 GTB. Looked super-cool when racing in 1966, don't much care how it looks now...
